Having to switch the Dolby Vision on and off is a little annoying, otherwise it’s a solid player if you can find it on sale.

Crap but plays SACDs. Game console players better

Tried Panasonic player after which was MORE expensive and it was even WORSE.. I can't help but feel these 4k players are absolute jokes for the price. Just get a console or external drive to rip 4k disc to your PC and watch the files. Thats what I resorted to, and this cheap slim Pioneer drive rips em just fine where this and big dedicated Panasonic player would skip and corrupt (where Xbox was fine on same disc) Only plus is this did play SACDs.

So I invested! Can’t talk about the picture or performance because I have no tv yet to see the 4K picture quality. I just read that this Sony X800M2 was a good player, and able to play all the latest formats of DVD’s out there?

This model is also geared toward Netflix. Another button for Amazon would be a nice feature. However, it does have a favorite button. Personally, I use a different remote.
