Sony 4K Blu-ray Disc Player
[Employee of bestbuy] I recently purchased the Sony 4K Blu-ray disc player, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer! This player has enhanced my movie-watching experience to a whole new level. With its built-in Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity, I can easily stream my favorite movies and other content in breathtaking high quality. One feature that impressed me is the super quick start mode. It eliminates any unnecessary hassle and allows me to dive right into my entertainment without delay. Whether it's a movie night with friends or a solo binge-watching session, this player keeps up with my pace effortlessly. One of the standout qualities of this Sony 4K Blu-ray disc player is its dual HDMI outputs. It enables me to connect it simultaneously to my LG C1 65-inch TV and another screen, making it a perfect match for my home theater setup. The picture quality is stunning, and the colors truly come to life on my TV. I can confidently say that I love this Sony 4K Blu-ray disc player and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional streaming and movie-watching experience. It's a reliable and user-friendly device that enhances both picture and sound quality, ensuring every movie night is a memorable one.

Best blue ray player i had
I was in the market to get a new DVD player. My old one broke. I was surprised how much they went up by because it’s been several years since I’ve had one but if you want a great DVD for a reasonable price this is the one to get and for those that say that it freezes up when you Play DVDs or whatever just plug in a Internet cord and you’re good. I haven’t had one issue playing Netflix or my DVDs on this DVD player. I have played 100 dvds in this blue ray player Great buy thank you sony and it works great with my sound bar

looks nice
I read a lot of reviews on this player and it sounded great. Got it on sale which made it even better, otherwise I would have bought a different one for cast. Dimensions and design match perfectly with an Onkyo receiver. First time I played it for a few minutes just to test the connections it froze. Second time I played it to watch a full movie it did fine, but while watching the extras, it had been playing for about 3 hours and maybe it overheated because it froze again. After just these two uses I'm starting to lose confidence. This was to replace a very low end Sony blu ray player that quit working after just 2 years. Not sure if Sony is as good of quality as they used to be.

SONY UBP-X800M2 4K BLURAY PLAYER
It's an very good 4k Bluray Player, works as it should. So far so good. The build quality is good, picture and sound quality are excellent. People comment about the player freezing, that hasn't happened yet. From experience with DVD/Blu-ray players over the years,, usually they'll freeze if you try to make them do to much. You're watching a movie, then you want to change the audio settings, subtitles, switch to a different scene, they don't have an advanced processor or a lot of ram,, they'll freeze. It happens too with computer drives or any other type of disc drive. If it happens a lot or doesn't wanna play some discs, you got a bad unit.

Good features
It was easy to set up, however I wish Sony would provide better guidance about the PCM setting. We sold a inexpensive Sony Blu-ray player thinking that a higher end model wouldn’t have the same issues. We had rented countless movies only not to be able to watch them because we were unable to hear voices, only background noise. After googling and reading numerous articles, many of which I had no idea what they were talking about as I’m not an avid audiophile, I discovered the importance of the PCM setting. Other than that, performs exceptionally good!!!
