Excellent picture and set up was a breeze. Even standard DVD's now play with a better picture than before.

Fine and very solid disc player that does a great job with 4K movies...and will also play my SACD discs! Make sure you hit the "home" button on the remote to go into the settings - especially for music files - and you can default to 192 Hz for your higher end stuff, as well as DSD for the format. If you have a decent Atmos set up for your home theater this player is a good choice. Can't go wrong with Sony.

Great player thus far with one minor but well known annoyance and that is no auto switching dolby vision. Everything looks great from dvd to 4k and this model plays every major optical format including SACD and DVD audio. Although the minor dolby vision switching issue can annoy i will not dock any points because this is a fantastic player and a little bonus that everyone may not know is the UI and disc boot up is faster on this model than LG or panasonics players ive tested against.

First the Big Thing. It works! And the little things matter too. I like the size and the weight. Makes it stackable with it at the bottom then all the short narrow skinny stuff goes on top. Also the remote -- Best remote I've owned. My older players buttons were a mess and had me pressing wrong buttons all the time. I've owned this for less then a week, and DVDs, Blu Rays, and 4ks all play with great fidelity. All in all a very fine player that should, hopefully last a very long time.

This Sony looks surprisingly amazing on my 65" Sony XBR OLED TV for the price. It was a simple straight forward set up (which is what I wanted) and has played 4 of my 120+ 4K Blu Rays with out a single hitch. I am happy!

This is the best player at its current price point! So look no further get one. Really shines with Dolby vision and 4K content.

Solid HD blu-ray player, and very quiet. My only gripes are that it sometimes locks up on movie menus, not allowing the movie to play or take inputs from controller. Seems to be a common issue with this model, that may be fixed in a firmware update. Other than that issue, no complaints, great quality, easy to use, and high quality.

This DVD player plays just about anything. Only complain I have is there is no front light or display to see what tract number you are playing ...you have to have your TV screen on all the time to control the unit. I bought this so I can play my SACD not spent thousand of dollars to buy a unit that can play them.

This player is easy to set up and start playing Blu-ray movies within a few minutes. Great picture (video) and sound through my AV system.

Purchased for new Oled 4K tv. Great quality bonus is that it plays SACD audio so I can enjoy my super audio cd’s.

Didnt know what i was missing untill i bought this and let me tell ya! Wow!! You can get close to the same quality from some streaming sites but u cant get the sound quality and the consistency of the picture quality with out one of these babies! Get it on sale!

This is hands down a great piece of home theater equipment you need for next level viewing. Great speed, great sound processing and the image quality is as good as it can get right now. For the price, you get a ton of value. Easy to navigate, easy to access streaming services, easy to set up to home network. I had one issue that required an exchange be made. The home screen kept freezing up and the only remedy was to unplug the unit. The new exchange unit seems to operate flawlessly, so maybe just a fluke.

This is a replacement for my 2004 Toshiba 5 disc Changer SACD, DVD Audio DVD player. This is an awesome Blue -Ray Player nothing could go wrong with Sony products. I love listening to old my collection of CD's , SACD's and DVD Audio's. The instruments you hear are accurate and detailed sounds when you listen to it. I assigned only this for listening to music, not movies .

Seems to work fine. no problems hooking it up, don't use it that much....but when I do it works great, good images , easy to use, seems well built , typical Sony product.

SONY is the one and only....their line of A/V equipment is always at the top of any list for quality. When I paired this 4K BluRay player with my Sony - 55" Class X900H Series LED 4K UHD Smart Android TV, it was a match made in Heaven. I also set it up with my older Sony A/V receiver and have simplified my remote as well. This is an excellent choice for anyone wanting to upgrade to a 4K BluRay player.

High quality sound and can be connected with other Sony Bluetooth speakers. Easy to use and charge lasts for hours of playing time.
