I only have a few discs now but after getting a 4K TV I wanted to have a 4K Bluray player. Since my TV is Sony (X950G) and this player is Sony, they work well together, but it will work with any TV. The picture quality is breathtaking and the operation is decent given the limitations of discs. The build quality is SOLID if that matters to you. Basically silent operation.

I love this player. I am able to put a gb thumb drive into the USB p[ort and watch what I have on it. All of the previous players I have had would not play them.

Love this player. Makes my DVDs/Blurays look amazing. Haven’t tried a true 4k UHD disc yet, but my other formats look great! Still have trouble with the dialogue being too quiet at times and the loud scenes being overly loud. I’ve tried every setting with no luck. It’s annoying to keep turning the volume up and down, but that’s what we do.

Solid, premium material. Good loading speeds, fluid fast forwarding and rewinding. DolbyVision must be turned on and off manually depending on if the disc includes it.

If you're looking for a hd Blu-ray player that supports Dolby vision and Dolby Atmos, this is a solid choice.

This is a great product and I have enjoyed using it since January 2021. The only thing that I do not like was that this model does not have as much of the ROM software as it's predecessor model UBP X800. Overall, it continues to keep the legacy of Sony's reputation will earned in the market. Compare it's capabilities and specs with other 4k players.

I'm very satisfied with this unit. I see a major different in my bluray movies it up grades the quality of my Blu ray movies. I see an improvement on my 4k movies as well. I like the remote control as well having the Netflix right there. I also like the built in apps such as Amazon prime so I can watch my movies. the sound being processed by the unit is excellent.

I Love this unit! Great for watching movies and tv shows on disc. I would definitely recommend this unit for anyone who wants a 4K Blu-ray player. I really haven’t messed around with the other features yet but I will. I love how the start up is right to the point. Put a disc in and it starts right away! Awesome sound and picture quality too!!

We used our Sony Blu-Ray player for the first time today. It was as though James Bond was in our living room. We are very happy with it. I highly recommend this product.

This was my first time setting up a dvd player so I had to figure things out by myself but I gather if you had experience before it would have been rather easy. The quality of the picture is good. There is some nuisance with the dolby vision part of it in the sense that you have to manually select it when watching a video. But the dvd player overall seems a good buy so far I only had it less than 1 month.

An amazing 4k player with dolby vision. Only draw back is having to manually change between dolby vision and hdr10 depending on the disc. I'd highly recommend getting a 48gbps hdmi 2.1 cable so you get the most out of this player.
