From the first day I bought this I had problems with it. The player had glitches from the get go. Rather than elaborate on the glitches, suffice to say that I had to call Sony and they graciously replaced it with another player that has played beautifully since day one.

So far,so good! Only used it twice but it has done Everything it has supposed to do. Setup was very easy and it paired right away with my new Denon AVR-S760H. The sound and picture are Great!

I love the build quality, very sold. Drawer opens perfectly. Unit is extremely quiet. Picture is perfect on my OLED TV. Only complaint, you have to toggle on/off Dolby Vision (in settings) when you want to watch a source with/without Dolby Vision. This included Blue Ray disks and Netflix. For the money, this is a great player.

Does a great job playing ultra high def movies. Playback is flawless and images are perfect.

Good build quality, excellent picture and great sound. Was very impressed by how sturdy this machine is. This DVD player is a bit heavier than most of the other DVD players on the market which is fantastic, as most of the lightweight junk on vibrates too much. Not this player.

I bought this player due to its features and was wondering if it will still use a 4K disc with a 1080 projector. Not only did it work but it used Dolby Amos sound which is why I’m giving it 5 stars. It’s makes the movies sound amazing. Can’t wait to upgrade the projector.

Works perfectly for me! Bought a few native 4K 2160 movies to go along with it! Picture is perfect with my new Sony 950G. Also, it plays 2160 MKV files perfectly via USB too! At least it has so far in files I’ve tested. No complaints so far! Wish there was more Horror 4K films though!

I ordered this Sony 4K Player shortly after 2am and it arrived the same day at shortly after 2pm. Rapid Arrival! Upon connecting it to my HDTV, it was mere moments to enter the AT&T network and connectivity was done! Rapid Setup! It was ready to connect to YouTube, played DVD's, BluRays, 4K's and even the Recordable DVD's I made years ago. Maximum Versatility and worth the investment. One again, Best Buy delivered when needed and you've got a lifetime customer.

This unit is surprising heavy and I assume that's to cut down on vibration. 4k looks amazing and I love that I can play my sacd disc.

It’s sound at for me. Great decision! Paired with my new my new Sony TV and subwoofer. Makes movies pop with sound.

It’s great and fast, great quality, it feels premium built. Only downfall to view Dolby vision movies must turn it on. And when playing normal 4K hdr must turn Dolby vision off. Not much Dolby vision content so it don’t bother me. Pair great with Sony bravias

This Sony - UBP-X800M2 - Streaming 4K Ultra HD Hi-Res Audio Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-Ray Player is awesome to have when you have a 4K T.V or if you don't it makes your movies look better and if you have a surround sound set up it makes sound better.

Excellent Sony DVD player. Really like the extra 4K streaming available with Amazon, Netflix, and YouTube. Easy to set up with a Sony OLED TV, too. After one year still working great. No issues.

Simply the best and most dependable DVD player out there. I have three of them, one of them is over 5 yrs old and I’ve never had a glitch, glimmer or sneeze. All work perfectly!

I am still happy with the performance! This is replacing same model that I had for about 10 years.

We had the previous versioning of this product, which worked well until it developed a glitch (which quite a few users report). This version seems almost identical. It works well in every way. An excellent device, but is not a bargain in price.

Much better picture and sound than using an x box. Wish had more apps but usually use roku anyway for streaming. Must services used are the 3 included
