Good price and product arrived as scheduled. So far, we are happy with the Sony DVD player (it replaced a previous Sony DVD player that quit working post warranty period).

Only used it once when I first hooked it up. Looks and sounds great. Been busy streaming on Netflicks and HBOMax. Bought the higher priced model instead of the bare bines $100 model.

I got this on sale. Went all out. This one has the better audio than another model. The audio is freaking awesome. I wish it had a display but blu ray players went away with that years and years ago.

Plays Dolby Vision 4K UHD Blu-rays with excellent clarity. However, Dolby Vision is a setting that is globally "ON" or "OFF". Meaning HDR10(+) & SRD content output with "Dolby Vision" enabled to your TV when this setting is enabled and must be manually disabled. This wasn't an issue for me as my A80K Sony TV appears to deal with the fake Dolby Vision signal well with the Picture Setting "Dolby Vision Bright", but your milage may vary.

excellent sound and display ,you can immerse in the movie the only inconvenient is only have 3 apps Netflix, Youtube and Prime video I think Sony must include the option to add applications as for Example Pandora

Simply the best and most dependable DVD player out there. I have three of them, one of them is over 5 yrs old and I’ve never had a glitch, glimmer or sneeze. All work perfectly!

We added this when we upgraded our home theater surround sound. While it is 4K ready, our screen is not. But the BluRay quality is terrific, as well as ordinary DVDs. Easy to install, instructions were clear.

Originally wanted the next model down, but was glad to have gotten this one instead. Definitely recommend especially with a 4K TV and Dolby Atmos Sound System.

This player has a good picture and soulnd.I would stongley reccomend.I was upset as the best buy associate said that there was a way to put on more apps.I guess his name was Pinocchio because he lied.

This was recommended to me by a friend. My first thoughts were, that's a little Expensive. However, I'm eating those words now. I'm very satisfied! You get what you pay for in this product.

So far I only watched a Blue-ray version of Avatar on this, but it looked outstanding when combined with my new 77" Sony OLED tv.

Great 4K Blu Ray player. I bought a new Samsung 4K 50" TV with a new Samsung Dolby Atmos soundbar, so I needed a Blu ray player to accommodate. Made the right decision.

Really glad I upgraded from the 700 to the 800 series. Better quality machine with incredible sound and picture quality.

Nothing looks better than a Sony. Buy this with Sony 4K TV and you will not regret it. The quality of picture is unbeatable at 4K. And the price was irresistible. Absolutely no complaints so far.

Great bang for your buck. Connected perfectly with my sonos beam+sub+ones. Running it with a Samsung oled and looks great. Watched, batman, John wick and LOTR trilogies like a charm.
