I love love it all I can say WOW!!!!! What a difference it makes in the movies

So far this has been a nice improvement to our home theater system. We haven't had any issues with it and the picture/sound are excellent.

Love Sony brand and this is an amazing 4K blue ray player! We own 2 now. One for our bedroom and one for the living room. Not too large or bulky with all the apps we use built in.

I bought this strictly for watching movies through discs. Don’t buy if your looking to stream unless you love the only three options you get. Great, clean 4k player when it’s all said and done.

Perfect DVD player to add to my “sanctuary”. Love that it was very easy to program with my Sony Smart TV. Slim line style, very stylish.

Purchased this during a big sale. As usual, Sony delivers with another piece of quality equipment which will probably last me another 12 years like the previous one did...

Great product. Easy to set up. Works and operates as expected. My only wish is that it offered more apps than just Netflix, YouTube and Amazon Prime.

Nice unit. However,needed to purchase 4K cables for it. Definite improvement in sound,but picture on Bluray DVD is not much better than my previous,much cheaper Bluray DVD player.

Solid build, hoping this is durable and last a long while to justify the price. So far so good. Great 4k picture quality and quite operation & good upscaling, know there is limited app access if that’s important to you. Somewhat difficult to get everything setup if your not tech savvy (what settings should be chosen based on your tv/setup).

If you have a Sony Sony - STRDH790 receiver, don't expect the volume control on the Blu-Ray remote to directly control this receiver volume. I was able to get the Blu-Ray remote to control the TV volume, which in turn was able to control the amp volume via the HDMI cable. It does do a good job playing my 4k discs,

It is a great unit. Set up was easy . The best way I can review the Sony UBP-X800M2 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray player is that I have nothing negative to say about it. I recommend this unit.
