This Is a great player for the price however the one and only but huge negative is the fact it forces even old blu rays and dvds into Dolby vision so unless you don’t mind opening the options menu and shutting it off every time your disc doesn’t have Dolby vision then it’s fine but i suggest the Panasonic ub820 is far superior

Great features & excellent build quality & connectivity, better than other brands…

1.) This model is way over priced for what it is. ; 2.) it is the same model that was sold 3 1/2 years ago; 3.) previous one did not last long...crapped out at 3 year mark, and not used at all for 2 out of those 3 years) good thing I had purchased the Geek Squad plan, and it was replaced. The 4 K video and audio quality are good, but based upon other issues, you have to decide if it is worth it. Keep in mind Blu Ray and 4K discs are difficult to buy anymore, since everything is being streamed these days and many stores do not sell discs (obsolete I suppose).

Plays 4k and looks as great as expected. Blu-ray look like 4k. Works wonderfully. Netflix, Prime and Youtube. Highly recommend.

Picture quality is beyond belief as well as the sound everything is more enhanced and clear but this player.

I have always purchased Samsung TVs and Samsung players, I have good luck with them and I like the compatibility factor, so after I upgraded my Samsung tv, to another Samsung, I was somewhat disappointed to find out, Samsung no longer makes players, so I went with my first Sony player, well, so far, so good, no bad issues at all, and Sony player appears to be doing its job, playing discs, without any bad issues

made my purchase to replace a player that i had for 13 years.was pleased at the upgrade that in all areas of quality.

Not only quality picture but the sound is tremendous. A must have for all systems.

added this as a second dvd blueray/3D player to another home location. just as good as as its predecessor.

This 4K blue ray player works great. It also has Dolby sound which is great. i would recommend.

Works well with my other Sony equipment. The video look great and it loads faster than my Samsung unit did.

The DVD player is easy to hook up. It plays as you would expect. High quality picture.

good picture quality, and menu screen. toggling dolby vision on or off is the only pain this player has.

This sound bar setup is marvelous. The sound is very clear and distinctive. I love the whole SONY set-up.

Generally speaking I’m not a sound bar type of guy but I was pretty impressed with this Sony
