Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always purchased Samsung TVs and Samsung players, I have good luck with them and I like the compatibility factor, so after I upgraded my Samsung tv, to another Samsung, I was somewhat disappointed to find out, Samsung no longer makes players, so I went with my first Sony player, well, so far, so good, no bad issues at all, and Sony player appears to be doing its job, playing discs, without any bad issues

This player has handled everything I have beautifully. I’m not sure how much longer they willbe making blu-ray players, so once it went on sale I decided to get one before they are gone for good.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This Is a great player for the price however the one and only but huge negative is the fact it forces even old blu rays and dvds into Dolby vision so unless you don’t mind opening the options menu and shutting it off every time your disc doesn’t have Dolby vision then it’s fine but i suggest the Panasonic ub820 is far superior
