Good While it Lasted

We only watched a couple dozen movies on it; movies with Dolby Atmos, like Top Gun Maverick, etc. It just quit working; won’t turn on, eject, etc. I knew it wouldn’t be used much so I didn’t get an extended warranty. I guess that was a mistake. I’ going to try a Pamasonic this time.

It is designed to be quiet, which it is. It connected to my WiFi easily, and setup for my accounts went smoothly. The setup wizard and settings menus are intuitive. One of the things I like best about this player is its shape. It is a simple rectangular box. No frills, no stylized shape or contours. It's a box. I can stack other components onto it, so it doesn't limit my ability to put it wherever I want.

The disc tray (flimsy, like most these days) and lack of front display are the only 2 things I'd change.
