Thank you for the review and we're glad to hear that you like the Blu-ray player. Power reset the unit, simply unplug the unit and wait 1-2 minutes then plug the device back in and power on. We also recommend playing different disc to isolate the issue. If the situation does not improve, factory reset the Blu-ray player and try again. See page 27 from this link for more details.

Excellent UHD plays just about any file

Panasonic was nice, but buggy/loud/had trouble streaming diff file types. Sony feels solid, pretty picture, quiet, good w diff types of media. Has some issues w poorly encoded AAC audio sometimes. I run it to an A9F so the Bravia sync is nice

I own 3 of the UBPX800's and they have work flawlessly for the last 2 years. The M2 is no different. The interface is easy to work with to set up the M2. Picture quality and sound quality are excellent. It's a great deal when it's on sale for $199.00. Have always had good luck with Sony players. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Love our new DVD!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We've been using this new item for 1 month and so far, its like being at the movies, we have a Boise 5.1 surround sound to plug into and this new DVD player really works with it to enhance sound even more. Our 1st binge watch was the Hobbit Trilogy and the Lord of the Rings trilogy in 4k, a Christmas present for my husband. It was a a real treat on the new player, guaranteed!

The older unit wasn’t being supported with software upgrades any longer and had difficulty playing the newer blu-ray movies. Wow! What a difference. This unit delivers true to it’s description; great video and audio. Finally getting the picture and audio our TV and sound system were designed to deliver.

Excellent Sony 4K Ultra Player

Video is great for an old movie. There are several settings to check for surround sound. My demo disc showed satisfactory and full surround sound for the unit. Also pleasantly surprised that it plays a region 2 disc. Remote commands very responsive too.

It’s The Best

The machine uploads dvd’s, blu-ray’s and is overall very clear and true 4k for viewing 4k movies. I added a Samsung 4k 85” tv for a True Movie Experience. You need to purchase this player
