I love this player. I am able to put a gb thumb drive into the USB p[ort and watch what I have on it. All of the previous players I have had would not play them.

I had Blu Ray before it, but had 4K TV. Was looking for 4K Player options available in market. Then Sony came up with this model. When I used it, experience is altogether different. The colors are more brighter and sound is way beyond my expectations. This model has very good built, so that there should not be any inner shaking of disc. Really like the product and highly recommend it.

Solid, premium material. Good loading speeds, fluid fast forwarding and rewinding. DolbyVision must be turned on and off manually depending on if the disc includes it.

So far, so good. i wasn't extremely excited about this purchase that my husband suggested however, I have come to fully acknowledge the advantage this player has over the x-box. both video and sound are incredible and I really love the Bluetooth option to pair with earbuds.

Works as it should. Replaced an older version and hooked this one up right away.

Extremely easy to setup. Beautiful picture and simple menus.

Would be nice if there were more “smart” features. Picture quality is good and easy to use.

We used our Sony Blu-Ray player for the first time today. It was as though James Bond was in our living room. We are very happy with it. I highly recommend this product.

Perfect as a designated 4k Blu ray player for my setup.

This is a great 4k Blu-ray, we love the picture on our Sony 4K TV. The best part about this player is that you can pay DSD CDs and output to your stereo system, which is awesome if you have Super Audio CDs. We love the clarity of sound and it works very well with our Krell.

I love it!! It plays any disk you put in it, crystal clear picture, I recommend it to a few people already I have movie night every Saturday with it, I also enjoy watching it in 3D, it’s a great product to own, I’ll probably buy another one for the bedroom also.

If you're looking for a hd Blu-ray player that supports Dolby vision and Dolby Atmos, this is a solid choice.

About the same excellent picture as my UBP x700, but definitely a nice improvement on the audio side. Limited apps, but I only use this to play discs, so not that important in my use case. Would give it 5 stars for the audio quality alone, but this player have issues with freezing and would need a power cycle from time to time.

Wow! Watched a 4K film and the picture was crystal clear. I mean crystal clear… I was impressed. The 4K streaming apps are only a couple buts that’s because not many are streaming 4K, yet. When they do, you’ll be ready. Hooked right into receiver and sound system. The sound is better than the theater.

I love this 4k player. Upscaling is terrific and 4k disc play is really, really good. My only issue is that you have to manually turn on/off Dolby Vision. Small irritant but that’s why no 5 star vote. Good, quality player and at sale price a bargain (IMO)

Great DVD player- have played multiple 4k dvd's and the picture is stunning

The video and audio quality of DVD's is nothing short of fantastic. I mainly use the x800M2 for CD and USB playback. CD's and USB MP3's have a new liveliness and musicality. I am now in the process of putting my favorite MP3 albums and compilations onto a USB thumb drive. This becomes a solid state high resolution music server.
