I love it!! It plays any disk you put in it, crystal clear picture, I recommend it to a few people already I have movie night every Saturday with it, I also enjoy watching it in 3D, it’s a great product to own, I’ll probably buy another one for the bedroom also.

4K blue Ray player highly recommended if you have a 4K TV always picture is amazing

This Sony 4K Ultra HD streaming Blu-ray player is a Good Buy. Outstanding player with many features and options and a good upgrade from the UBP700 I think it was called.Very pleased with the purchase!!!

Sony 4K Ultra player! This is by far one of the best 4K movie players I have ever bought. Beautiful picture quality, and the freeze frame works perfect. I don’t know what I was thinking to wait so long to buy a 4K movie player! Get this player! Nuff said!

It was time to upgrade from my combo dvd/vcr player!! I bought this item as I liked what it offered plus it had very good reviews. I researched this item on other websites for it's quality and reviews and I was happy with what I found. I am happy with my purchase. I think you will be too.

It's exactly what I've come to expect from Sony... a high quality product that delivers a great picture.

About the same excellent picture as my UBP x700, but definitely a nice improvement on the audio side. Limited apps, but I only use this to play discs, so not that important in my use case. Would give it 5 stars for the audio quality alone, but this player have issues with freezing and would need a power cycle from time to time.

I was very nervous about picking a 4K player, but I’m so glad I picked this one, it’s been great. Upscaling 1080p Blus has been excellent. As for cons, I’ve just noticed that it sometimes needs to have the on button pressed twice, but no problems with playback once it starts playing. I’m happy with this one.

The video and audio quality of DVD's is nothing short of fantastic. I mainly use the x800M2 for CD and USB playback. CD's and USB MP3's have a new liveliness and musicality. I am now in the process of putting my favorite MP3 albums and compilations onto a USB thumb drive. This becomes a solid state high resolution music server.

Bought this to upgrade my father's old 1080p player now that we've upgraded him to 4K. Setup was a breeze, and the upgrade to this unit was a noticeable improvement. Upgrading the firmware to the latest revision was also easy and quickly accomplished. Not a single thing to really complain about with this unit - would buy again.

Well I needed to buy this for my new Samsung Q80 TV because it's 4k and the one I had before wasn't. I'm old school and while I stream a ton of things I just need to have the hard copy of stuff too. The Samsung blue ray I had wasn't 4k plus it recently received an update that just out right killed it. So now I'm a Sony guy I guess.

I really like this player. The sound options are a little annoying to configure, but once you get it figured out, the audio and video are high quality.

Excellent picture with Dolby picture and Dolby Atmos audio. For best result you need to purchase an UHD disc which are more expensive. Regular DVD will play but without the Dolby enhancements.

What can I say? It's very user friendly & the visual quality is excellent!

Excellent 4k player. I like that it plays when you put a disc in and I know some reviewers said it freezes sometimes but I never had that issue which I had with some other brands.
