Good price and product arrived as scheduled. So far, we are happy with the Sony DVD player (it replaced a previous Sony DVD player that quit working post warranty period).

Had the earlier Sony X800 from about two years ago. It was good - until it just stopped. Bought the M2 version and seems much improved. Faster operation and very clear picture/sound

Originally wanted the next model down, but was glad to have gotten this one instead. Definitely recommend especially with a 4K TV and Dolby Atmos Sound System.

This player can play all kinds of formats. 4K movies look fantastic. You can also connect with WiFi and Bluetooth. It played a SACD disk Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon and it sounded unbelievable.

Very good for its price. Atmos is great and the subwoofer is cool asf. Maybe invest in a 5.1 system if you have the money

Purchased this to replace an Xbox for 4k movies. Very disappointed with first attempt at watching a 4k movie when suddenly the unit froze not even 5 minutes into the movie. It would slowly advance every so often. Took the brand new disc out of player thinking something must be up with it. Perfectly crisp and clean. Put it back in and restarted the player. Played from the beginning and worked flawless for about 20 minutes this time but it did the same thing again. Tried in my Xbox no problem. Really disappointed with the cost of the player and its reliability. Purchased this to go with my new Sony TV and surround/ amp. Sifted back through reviews only to see that this is a common issue with the player even among the higher ratings. Completely unacceptable.

Have been a Sony die hard fan for many years, always love Sony products. This player has good picture quality as I expected, can’t tell the difference compare to a more expensive model(ubp1100es )except the optical input.

We use this occasionally, but so far it's been great. One thing i like is how quickly it turns on. We have this connected to a 4K TV, and the picture is excellent. Buy it on sale, and you can't go wrong.

This player has a good picture and soulnd.I would stongley reccomend.I was upset as the best buy associate said that there was a way to put on more apps.I guess his name was Pinocchio because he lied.

We use this more than the cable! The DVD is easy to use and works well with streaming services.

Only used it once when I first hooked it up. Looks and sounds great. Been busy streaming on Netflicks and HBOMax. Bought the higher priced model instead of the bare bines $100 model.

Works very well, nice picture, loads fairly fast. The price is high for a bluray player, but it should be the last one you ever buy.

Bought in order to watch a 4k DVD I had bought for my daughter and was amazed at the pitcher quality. in playing other DVD's in this player it seemed like their quality was much clearer. very satisficed.

we installed a big screen tv in our lower level with the addition of this Blu Ray Player and surround sound speakers it sounds and feels like a theater very nice.

The player was just a minor upgrade from my regular 800. It does offer a minor difference and works well for my needs when watching 4K movie disc. A must for any high end TV or home theater.

excellent sound and display ,you can immerse in the movie the only inconvenient is only have 3 apps Netflix, Youtube and Prime video I think Sony must include the option to add applications as for Example Pandora

I have paired this with a new 75” X950G and the picture is incredible. The only negative is having to go into settings and enable/disable Dolby Vision depending on the content, but that is very minor and takes a second.
