But it’s solid for good reasons beyond its impressive appearance. It’s overkill for playing DVDs, but most of them are due to all the Smart features. It should hold up to heavy use and loud surround sound.

I have it hooked up to a Yamaha receiver and it sounds very good. The picture is good too with my new Sony 4k TV.
