High def playback performs well, no hanging up on multilayer discs. Resolution exactly as expected. Operates smoothly with a remote that communicates correctly the first time. It Does It All!

I bought this mostly because I still enjoy listening to my SACD and DVD-Audio discs and I started having problems with my old player. Since this does DVD's and CD's as well I now only need my Denon AVR and this Sony UBP-X800M2 disc player to do it all! I really enjoy this all-in-one setup now.

Great Blu-Ray for the money

Once its connected it works reallywell.. i would recommend to anyone wanting something with all around capabilities that doesn't cost over 400 dollars..

I couldn’t get sound out of it and the remote wouldn’t work. But, I finally figured it out and everything is rock’n and roll’n. Movies pop and the Hi-Res audio is the best. Thank you,BB for a great bargain. Oh yeah, Thank you,Sony.

I was expecting amazing but in 4K is looked darker and grainy. I played a regular Blu-ray and it was the same thing. I hooked my old blu-ray player up and it looked amazing. This player is going back for something else.
