Tried Panasonic player after which was MORE expensive and it was even WORSE.. I can't help but feel these 4k players are absolute jokes for the price. Just get a console or external drive to rip 4k disc to your PC and watch the files. Thats what I resorted to, and this cheap slim Pioneer drive rips em just fine where this and big dedicated Panasonic player would skip and corrupt (where Xbox was fine on same disc) Only plus is this did play SACDs.

Having to switch the Dolby Vision on and off is a little annoying, otherwise it’s a solid player if you can find it on sale.

He did an excellent job. I was impressed that he did the installation by his self because the TV was very heavy! He also programed the remote to work with our existing devices and reviewed how to work the remote.
