Amazing WIFI features!!! I want to replace my existing Blu Ray players.

This player is magic, thank you Sony. One of the best for my point of view is the Bluetooth connection and connect a headphone to watch a movie. The menu is very complete. Really the model you need today in Ultra HD.

Great, inexpensive DVD player. My first Sony Blu-Ray player and I like it. Easy to use, slim line and great picture quality. Pricing is excellent on this model - I would highly recommend it.

-The home front is simple, gorgeous, exactly what I wanted. -The settings layout is exceptionally concise. (I like to make a few changes depending on the format I’m playing) -Of course, viewing is a pleasure.

The Sony UBP-X800 Streaming Ultra HD Hi-Res Audio unit is very comprehensive for those who need this high level of technology. It was well beyond my personal needs, so returned it for something smaller and simple to use.

So far I can watch my movies without stopping, I was using the LG one and every time it would stop during the movie

The box makes it seem like this comes with lots of streaming services like most do. It does not. It comes with netflix and one or two others that were useless. So for our dumb tv, we get blu ray only and just watch legacy cable instead. Would not recommend this. Sony did a poor job here.

Needed to a 4K Blu-ray to my theater; I already had one of these in a different setup, so this was an easy add.

Great bluray player, my only gripe is that dolby vision needs to be manually shut off or some of your discs will not play.

I ordered an open box excellent condition item and it was very obvious that it was NOT in excellent condition when I first received it. There should have been better quality control on the item shipped. I contacted customer support and they were very supportive when I listed the issues with the first item received ( I didn't even plug it in to see if it worked. It was the condition of the item and the missing parts that were the issue) and they were very good about returning what had been received and sending an appropriate item. The second Blu Ray shipped was as expected.

I've only just set this up. Initial impression is that Bluetooth is unnecessarily difficult to setup. Other than that, everything else works just fine.

Great video and audio performance. Plays back hi-res audio from my thumb drive. Sounds great!

The price was excellent at 199.00. I bought this as a backup in case I had issues with my other universal players ( for DVD audio). Works as advertised.

I thought that this item was bringing with it, next-level sharp visuals, but regardless of how well the player may display, it seems that I may have get the settings professionally adjusted, to make it look like in-store vibrant clarity and color.
