Outstanding! A perfect pairing for the Bravia TV. My wife and I get nothing done now that this is in our house.

Very sharp picture and realistic. However, I preferred the warmer and more vibrant colors on the Panasonic DP-UB420-K, to pair with my Samsung QLED. Ended up keeping the Panasonic and returning this Sony.

Great little Blu-ray player for the money. It’s little so it fits anywhere and it plays everything perfect. I’ve had this for a year in the bedroom and haven’t had any problems. That’s why we buy Sony!

I did not find a better BluRay player than this one. I purchased THREE of them. For me, they have it all. You really do not need a compact disc player as this is ultra fine. Go get one!

Reads all DVDs and Blurays I have tried. Starts quickly. Weighs more than other Bluray players, hopefully indicating a heavier chassis for increased stability.

Although I haven't played a 4K DVD with it as yet, it does a great job with Blu-Ray DVD's. Operation is easy, I highly recommend it.

It's a nice blu ray player knida freezes up on you sometimes but all n all a really beautiful blu ray player. Don’t understand why they jacked the price up $30 really messed up!!

Glad I made the upgrade. Much more solid case. Better presentation of older discs. Plays some older DVDs that UBX700 had problems playing. Definitely recommend this unit!

Bought one and then had a older Panasonic that was on its last leg, liked the Sony so I bought another to replace the Panasonic

Was super excited to get this unit. Until the first play of Avatar 2, when it became apparent that all the reviews were in fact true. Midway through the disc, it froze up and I needed to skip forward in the movie to get it to start back up. I ultimately returned for the Panasonic UB820. Just sucks that my entire system won't be matching Sony.

This is perfect for playing my new 4k titles and is getting lots of use.

it's an excellent UHD for the price point and as I'm trying to keep my 3d for as long as possible and Samsung has dropped the ball I'm not sure what else I'd purchase instead.

I am staying with Sony , just had good luck so far , for this and waiting for new 55 incher 4K to come in . It has several streaming apps , so I can use them without needing to hook up laptop always .

This player has the added benefit of providing streaming capability for those who do not have a smart TV or any other way to access streaming services.

I got this as a christmas gift. This seems to fit the options that i need and also wanted a player that still has a seperate optical audit out. this makes it great for when you don't want the surrond sound on.

So far, this system has been great! I haven’t used it a whole lot yet, but plan to. No problems with setup, or compatibility with my tv, receiver and speaker system.

So far so good, although I've only been able to play Blu Rays because we're away from our primary residence without our 4K discs. I'll update if any issues with those.

Needed a second player in Spare room . This covers it great with streaming. For apps was able to set up as a internet tv . Great a streaming content from apps . And a great 4K player as a bonus.
