Works very well with the Sony A95K television we purchased. no issues getting it to work well.

Considering all of the great Blu-ray players are no longer made ie: Oppo, this is the best alternative.

The box makes it seem like this comes with lots of streaming services like most do. It does not. It comes with netflix and one or two others that were useless. So for our dumb tv, we get blu ray only and just watch legacy cable instead. Would not recommend this. Sony did a poor job here.

I thought that this item was bringing with it, next-level sharp visuals, but regardless of how well the player may display, it seems that I may have get the settings professionally adjusted, to make it look like in-store vibrant clarity and color.

Good value for the purchase. The product exceeds my expectations

I ordered an open box excellent condition item and it was very obvious that it was NOT in excellent condition when I first received it. There should have been better quality control on the item shipped. I contacted customer support and they were very supportive when I listed the issues with the first item received ( I didn't even plug it in to see if it worked. It was the condition of the item and the missing parts that were the issue) and they were very good about returning what had been received and sending an appropriate item. The second Blu Ray shipped was as expected.

So far I can watch my movies without stopping, I was using the LG one and every time it would stop during the movie

I love the player, but after an hour of viewing it starts to freeze up on me. I purchased this player for its Dolby Vision and dvd audio capabilities. I found several other people online complaining of the same issue. This is a dedicated 4K Blu-ray player and is not used for streaming. I may have to return it and purchase the Panasonic 4K player that costs twice as much. I am disappointed with this player.

I like it, plays well. Nice and simple design. Integrates well with my other Sony equipment.

Sony invented 4K, so it’s not surprising they have a great 4K video player. I’ve been using these Sony BluRay players for many years now, and this is just a continuation of a great thing.

this completes my Sony AV set up - just need to figure out how to meld the systems into a user friendly unit :)

So far so good. Good for Blu ray and standard. Purchased in part for 3D functionality.

The blue ray player is amazing as far as operation and results on screen. Amazing when paired with Sony Bravia TV. However it only comes with 3 streaming apps and will not allow additional apps. This is a downfall on this player.

Love this Blu ray player! Especially with the recent updates. A bit technical when you drive into the settings but worth it. Looks and feels very premium!

This is the updated M2 version of the player with Vision support. Its nice sony is removing all the bloatware apps from the player.

Just as I suspected, Sony puts out a quality product that matches up to my sound bar and tv to give me a great entertainment experience. I highly recommend it.
