The best Blu-ray player I have purchased to date, as 4K cannot be outmatched. The colors are vibrant and movies have never looked better. If you are in need of a 4K upgrade, this 4K Blu-ray player is one of the best I have bought, and I highly recommend it.

I have owned this for about 1 month now and have used it a fair amount and have not run into any issues so far. I believe the build date on this unit is Aug 2019 so I would hope that Sony has fixed their notorious problem by then. Has been working flawlessly which is why I have given it 5 stars. Hopefully it stays that way!

Has everything you could want! Has HDR & HDR 10 & Dolby vision & Dolby Atmos, has a amazing upscale to 4K setting! Set it to Auto 2 in 4K upscale, makes DVDs & regular blu rays look absolutely best they can & 4K discs are absolutely amazing

Got the player before the tv. Much better than the one i got from amazon. The Amazon one was a $1 cheaper but was refurbished or open box and didnt day, but didn't even play any type of disk.

It just included the player and no remote or cables but that was to be expected and no problem on my end. The model reads uhds without any stuttering or freezes, and upscales Blu rays really well

This player has great picutre and audio quality. Almost all HDR and audio formats are supported which is why I chose the Sony at this price point. The only downside is having to manually turn Dolby Vision on and off before starting a movie, you would think this should be auto detected. This is my only gripe.

Better features, doesn’t seem to freeze up nearly as much. I think so far it’s only frozen once and that was during powering it on, not while playing a disc. The first 4K ultra Blu Ray player I bought was the Sony XBP-U800 and it just freezes badly. This model is much better and reliable. I always buy Sony!

The picture quality is excellent. I am using it in our movie room with a 100 inch screen and the quality is amazing. You can see every little detail. I just finished watching the Avengers End Game and after watching 3 times on other devices this was the best. As soon as they go on sale again I will buy one or two more.
