Have only used it a few times and haven’t even touched on all of its features, but was easy to set up and plays perfectly. My goal was to spend more on a DVD player in hopes that it will last longer than my last 3 purchases.

I can finally watch those 4K movies I had bought! I'm thoroughly impressed with the picture quality. No holds barred, This is by far the best disc player i have used. I still haven't checked out all of the featuresthis unit has to offer, but soon!

Great picture and sound quality. Much improved over another brand I purchased 4 years ago. I didn’t know what I was missing from my 4K TV without a 4K HD blu-ray player

Great product excellent video and like the blue tooth connection. A plus sacd can be played on this blue ray.

This unit is surprising heavy and I assume that's to cut down on vibration. 4k looks amazing and I love that I can play my sacd disc.

Much better picture and sound than using an x box. Wish had more apps but usually use roku anyway for streaming. Must services used are the 3 included

Sony - UBP-X800M2 - Streaming 4K Ultra HD Hi-Res Audio Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-Ray Player was a good purchase. It plays both old DVD's (Blu-Ray or not) plus obviously the newest DVD's which look great on the TV.

Pretty good blu ray player so far. Only had it for a couple of weeks. Glitched one time when we turned it on but never again. Only time will tell. Best Buy is always awesome. Crew brought it out and into the trunk. And off we went

Great picture, but I have experience some of the picture lock that has been often reported on this unit online. I found it to be linked to dirty DVDs; unit is very sensitive and operates best with very clean discs.

This is actually an exchange. I mistakenly did the previous 4K player review, thinking that it was this one. Again, excellent picture and sound. The DVD-A and SACD capabilities are the reason for my purchase.

Sound and video quality is great. Wish there was a play button on machine, instead of having to pick up remote to start.

Setup was super easy and operation has been outstanding. My only complaint is I cannot seem to find the option to turn off the auto-off "feature." But, that is extremely minor and does not affect my review. I would definitely buy it again.

High quality picture and sound that maximize the capabilities of the TV and sound system.

The video quality is not good enough. If you search online you will get recommendations that this is the best player but it doesn't provide as good quality video as Sony E3100 for HD Blu-rays. So, I returned this and bought an old E3100. But if anyone wants a 4k player or wants a new player it is recommended.

I got this with my TV which I'm happy with I am a somewhat movie buff and I have A LOT of movies it displays good & it's easier than my last bluray player so so much easier it's not bloated with millions of stuff I wouldn't use

Sounds great... worth the purchase. Only problem is that it goes on when the TV is turned on or when we look at certain features. It would be best to just use it all the time...on our Sony 80j OLED 65 incher.

No issues after 2 months of use. Very happy with purchase. Easy to setup.

Great 4k Blu Ray player. Only using this for disc playback. Not using the streaming apps. Quality of picture is wonderful - much better than streaming 4k. Playback is quiet and flawless. Machine is solid!

Plays movies with no problems both 4k, blue rays, and regular DVD’s haven’t messed with the smart app section but I would recommend this to family and friends looking for a good player at a great Black Friday price
