The audio from this device made my speakers come alive. Rewatching movies is a pure joy. Since I mostly watch concerts, the player is an incredible addition to my theater system

It was a plug & play replacement for my previous unit which was not a 4K unit. It integrated into my home theater system and performs flawlessly.

This a allows a universal remote with the TV when paired with a Sony TV. This player is great If your do not have a sound system. If you do, look at a higher end version.

The upscaling for my old blue rays along with some of my ancient DVDs is just amazing. Naturally I am now looking forward to each evening enjoying this product.

This is the second one I picked up so I have a spare just in case, since it was on sale and physical media is not as strong as it once was due to the evil streaming.

It was old, so I should have expected it. I have a lot of DVDs & some BluRays so I needed a replacement. I gave it the big test by watching The Lord of the Rings (Extended Edition) over two days. It worked well, and it was on sale.

Decent 4K blue ray player

We only have Creed II to test how well this player is and so far we have no complains. The main screen/menu is simple and boring but what player isn’t haha.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This bluray player was very unreliable, the screen on my 4K samsung TV kept turning black with no audio, at first i thought it was a handshake issue but then realized that the player didnt want to power down to restart it so i would have to disconnect the power wire from the power conditioner i have all my HT products connected to which was a hassle to do when you have all your wiring setup and reconnect it back just to get the player to start working normally. I ended up having to take it to Geek Squad for service which was another aneurysm to deal with and 2 weeks later getting it back as "Unrepairable" and since i did have it under a 4 year replacement or repair warranty, i was given a refund to buy a new player which i thought i would automatically get vs waiting two weeks to tell Geek Squad I TOLD YOU SO. I honestly miss the samsung bluray players, never had an issue with those and even my higher end Oppo UDP-205 and UDP-203 and evn mt Panasonic DP-UB820 years later far after warranty expiring still work 100%
