This is a huge improvement. It’s fast to respond to input, loads the movie quick. We’d buy this again.

It and my 4K Sony TV make my old DVDs look better than I thought was possible. The blu-ray player even makes my CDs sound great.

Very disappointed with first attempt at watching a 4k movie when suddenly the unit froze not even 5 minutes into the movie. It would slowly advance every so often. Took the brand new disc out of player thinking something must be up with it. Perfectly crisp and clean. Put it back in and restarted the player. Played from the beginning and worked flawless for about 20 minutes this time but it did the same thing again. Tried in my Xbox no problem. Really disappointed with the cost of the player and its reliability. Purchased this to go with my new Sony TV and surround/ amp. Sifted back through reviews only to see that this is a common issue with the player even among the higher ratings. Completely unacceptable.

The picture delivery is superior, I would for sure buy again.
