This is the perfect tv mount

This particular tv mount does actually support for mounting my new extra large size of TV (specifically the 75 inch Sony Z9K 8K UHD TV) right up against to a wall that definitely has ample space for working on that type of project especially when you need to depend on the technicians to do that for yourself without any handles and issues as well and of course as with those of you are living in a home environment that has ample space for doing this project of getting certain particular TVs mounted right up against a wall, then I absolutely even recommend for any of you to get this mount for certain of your own TVs even if those of you prefer to ultimately use this mount for any of those certain extra large size of TVs right up against to the wall of your own room as long as your own room will have ample space for getting this project done as well!! Anyway so this is absolutely perfect for myself to have this as well!! :D

Solid Mounting Bracket for Sony Bravia TV's

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll start out by saying this mount is solid and works well with my Bravia 9 85" TV and one of the reasons I paid the "premium" for the Sony version and had Geek squad install. That said, several things had me remove one star: 1) Price - there are other mounts that will do the same thing for less. Hence, why these are not a big seller. 2) Instructions included with Mount - not up to date and could be better. The instructions found on the Sony website in questions/answers have more detailed information. https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/BB88/8a03969b28e82fa3686eb931c3046139/BB881001M.pdf 3) It should be better stated what you do for the two mount settings ... standard and slim. The standard mount diagram shows 4 1/8" from wall to front of 85" TV. The slim mount shows 3 1/2". I'm at 3 7/8". In my room this is fine and didn't need it to hang flush like a picture. The mount handles 400 x 400 and 300 x 300 ... just make sure you use the extra bracket for the 400 x 400 and pre-align brackets on TV before mounting on wall, (saves taking it down and reinstalling). I did not need the sound bar functionality, (which is an added option at extra expense). All in all a solid choice, but there are other capable options if you'd like to save money.

Perfect mount for my Bravia 8!

Purchased it at a discount as an open box item and it was in like new condition! Would definitely buy again!!!

Perfect for our application!

It keeps our Sony 55” close to the wall and out of the way but also has a great range of movement if we need to pull it out from the wall or turn one direction or the other.

Not necessary imo

Seems like an unnecessary product as the sound bar came with a better mounting option for the bar. Also manuals are not updated for the latest mount. Although it works, it’s just not a smoothed out product for the new Bravia generation.

Wall Mount Needs to be Redesigned by Sony

It doesn't come with a mount for a Soundbar. That is a separate item. Even though the Soundbar mount can be attached to the TV Wall Mount, it doesn't allow for the Soundbar to slide up to the bottom of the TV. There is only one position which leaves too much of a gap in between! Remaining Best Buy staff seem to be unaware of this limitation. However, the smaller size TVs allow for a variable position, so that the Soundbar can slide up to the bottom of the TV. I'm surprised with this flaw from Sony!

We understand your concern about the gap between the Soundbar and the TV when using the wall mount. The SUWL905B Wall Mount is designed to be compatible with various TV sizes ranging from 55” Class up to 85” Class, but it appears that the current design does not allow for the Soundbar to be positioned as closely to the bottom of the TV as desired for the 85" models.
We appreciate your input and will pass this feedback along for consideration in future designs. Posted .Hi IsraelH, Thank you for your question! The Sony SUWL905 wall mount is specifically designed for Sony TVs and is compatible with various models released between 2015 and 2024. While it may work with other TVs that match the 300 × 300 mm or 400 × 400 mm VESA wall-mount hole patterns, compatibility with non-Sony brands is not officially confirmed. As for the soundbar rest, it is not included with the SUWL905 wall mount. If you’re planning to mount a soundbar, you’ll need to purchase the SU-WB1 soundbar bracket separately. This bracket is designed to work alongside the wall mount for a seamless setup. Please note that this product should only be installed by a professional installer who is trained to determine the strength of the wall for withstanding the TV’s or LCD Display’s weight. If it is not properly secured during installation, the TV or LCD Display may fall and cause serious injury. Sony is not liable for any damage or injury caused by mishandling or improper installation, or installing any other than the installable product. Your Statutory Rights (if any) are not affected.
