    Great Wide Angle Zoom

The 16-35mm is a fantastic lens. I find myself going to the lens a majority of the time. It really brings a great focal range for a wide angle zoom lens. Great results throughout the focal range with little distortion you might expect from a wide angle lens. Image sharpness is phenomenal at any focal length. This lens works great on either the A7 series type cameras, but just as well on the A6000 and NEX type bodies. The lens has a decent size and weight to it. You know this is a great piece of glass as soon as you pick it up. The additional Zeiss branding also clearly demonstrates the image quality you’ll get with this lens. I definitely does not disappoint in this area. After using this lens for a few months, I have no complaints about its performance. While it does cost a bit more, if it is within your budget, you will not be disappointed. It performs flawlessly in every situation you can throw at it. I highly recommend this lens.

    Restocking fee

When I purchase online there was no notification about the restocking fee. When I returned the item they ask for restocking fee even though I never used it. When I said I didn’t open the box, the stuff even brought out the lenses and check to see if there is any dust in there and think I am lying. Horrible horrible experience

    Great for video

This is a great lens for video. having image stabilization in both the body and the lens make simple hand-held shots appealing even without any kind of stabilizer or gimbal. The autofocus motors are also superb. They're extremely fast but don't just mechanically slam into focus. You can achieve a pretty cinematic look with the face tracking features on the A7III. They're also incredibly silent so you don't fill your audio with lens motor noise even with a shotgun mic. The only downsides are the fact that it does extend in length a bit, so it might throw off gimbal balance and the price. I picked mine up in Korea for about $800 USD and I've seen them in Hong Kong for about the same, brand new. For $1300 I'd expect at least F2.8
