However after a few months they feel as comfortable as can be.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is by far the best earbuds I have ever bought, I remember I used to own the mark 3 and I used to like the quality from those but the connectivity problems were just terrible, with these you have it all, quality audio that is pleasant to the ears, good noise cancelling and really nice connectivity, aaaaah and also you have a nice long battery life, going to keep this pair for a long time.

A worthwhile upgrade

These are an improvement on so many levels. It is a great listening experience! All of the highs come through and the channel seperation is awesome. using the Sony app allows adjustments to improve hearing the lyrics and making the bass just right. I reccomend these to friends and family!

New Headphones

I was really worried that they were not hung to live up to the hype but i was wrong. Notifications about battery power for the case and headphones keep me square about when to charge. Family and friends hear me clearly with barely anything in the background. Previously i owned a set of Bose headphones and decided to make the switch this holiday season. Refreshing and well worth it

I also came from airpods pro 2nd generation- and in comparison they are about the same. It does take some getting used to, the app isn't the most user friendly either. There is just a lot going on, because they have a lot to offer so its not a bad thing- just, again, takes some getting used to. I also wanted to mention, because I almost returned them thinking they were defective, that when you are charging the case without the buds in them- the app will only show the percentage they were on the last time the buds were in them. I thought the case was not holding a charge, but when i put the buds back in the case - it updated it and showed they were charged at 100% (oops, lol). I'll update this after some time passes though, because for this much money- I would have loved to see more detailed reviews. They all seem to have different results.

The dual connection works almost seamlessly between my S23 Ultra and Tab s8 Ultra. The smaller size sits more comfortable in my ears which has been a pain point for me from the weight of the XM4s. These XM5s have great sound quality, really cool features with Google Assistant as well as nodding your head to answer calls, or shaking your head to decline calls. Don't let the glossy plastic finish fool you, these aren't cheap at all. I've been on the hunt for a good set of daily drivers and I have finally found it.

Sound quality is second only to my professional studio headphones. Noise cancelling is wonderful, I can now play music at Lowe's volumes on the bus and hear Clearly. App is minimal and convenient. Controls are responsive without being too sensitive. Did perfectly in ears but comes with different sizes.

Bass was much better than expected, but the clarity of sound is impressive for the money. I was able to hear notes and instruments that got lost on my old headphones. Occaisionally the bluetooth will freeze or show a little lag, but not too bad. Would buy these again.

I previously bought the WF1000 XM4 and loved them. I lost them somehow, so I bought the newest version as a replacement. I've absolutely loved them. They are very easy to use with the app. The sound is just incredible. When I have them on in loud areas, they completely block out the ambient noise, leaving just my music. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Get these instead because not only do these earbuds have the same great noise cancelation, they offer EQ settings in the sony app when you pair them to your phone or tablet that make the earbuds sound even better out the box. The fitment options are incredible and i love the soft foam. Silicone earbuds usually fall out but these stay firmly in place, long enough to be forgotten about! The noise cancelling feature works so well and the audio quality is second to none. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a new set of buds!

If you’re a basshead defintely consider these earbuds, the only area they fall behind in is noise cancellation, its not the best but not bad either. Overall very solid pair of earbuds so far.

Incredible battery, sound, and noise cancellation

They are comparable to my wh xm4s (the headphones). I'd say they have less bass but still are in the same league. Ever since I've gotten these, I've used my headphones less just for the incredible comfort. I've never had battery problems (especially with how convenient it is to wirelessly charge them) and I've dropped them on concrete before with no issues.
