Sound quality and connection issues

Headphone app to modify the settings of the earphone is terrible, sometimes the headphone app selects your PC/laptop as default even if we try switching to mobile it would automatically force switch to laptop and it is irritating. The app is terrible so much so that any fine morning you go out and connect your earphones it will just simply won't work. My best advice is don't install the app and use it manually or switch between devices manually because trust me you are going to get mental peace. The sound is of excellent quality and bass, treble and voices are superb.

Easily better quality than Apple airpods or Samsung buds. And it works amazingly with both ecosystems. I ended up getting this to try it out, and ended up keeping it. I own both Samsung Bud's Pro 2, and Powerbeats Pro. Be easily beat them in sound quality, which I should expect for it a bit higher price tag. They claim you can get an hour charge in just 3 minutes, and I would say that's pretty darn accurate. Took these on a 13 hour flight to japan, and only had to really take one earbud and plug it in and use the other one while it was charging after 9 hours. And I would just swap between the two after that until they got mostly a full charge. Never really have to worry about battery life when it comes to these ear buds.

I had previously shied way from “truly wireless” because they honestly are a bit less convenient. I liked how my B&W’s can just hang around my neck when not in use. However, I started to get tired of them feeling sticky in my neck during workouts, so I got their truly wireless ones and was disappointed in that older songs sounded amazing but newer ones could sound bass heavy. So I tried these Sony’s. They are top notch. Although they don’t have they amazing soundstage older songs had with the B&Ws, they do sound fantastic and neutral and not “bass enhanced.” The app is handy, the noise cancellation works very very well, way better than the B&Ws, they are very comfy overall and the bud tips seems to be a type of memory foam, only in the shape of your typical silicon tips. Excellent product. I still switch back to my B&Ws that can hang around my neck in situations where I may want to do that, because taking the buds out of your ears and putting them in a case all the time isn’t as convenient, but I will what’s wear these to the gym, etc.

The noise canceling is pretty good ive had better, but not bad at all. I really like the touch controls on these ones. Basically never miss and they are in an ergonomic spot. They hold well and the foam pieces are pretty easy to clean. The case feels a little flimsy, but once i put the case in a protective case it feels super solid. Battery life is decent, but doesnt make it a full 8 hours. However they charge very quickly so it hasnt been an issue for me. They spund really good. Especially if you use the 360 sound stuff. Has an option for better audio quality using their bluetooth connection or regular. Sometimes at the gym the higher quality connection gets a bit spotty. Not sure if its because there are tons of bluetooth connections happening, but its easy to switch to the more stable connection.

They did not feel like they were heavy enough to fall off like the last model. Really nice color options as well. Noice canceling was top notch as well as the transparency feature. Feels light enough to forget its even in my ear.

I haven't even explored all the sound options in the app but they are extremely customizable! the only thing I would recommend is purchasing a locking case if you're clumsy like me. if you drop them they will go flying out of the case.

Another knockout out pair of buds

The only things comparable to them were the previous gen XM4s (a used unit i returned due to that awful battery issue) and the beoplay EQs, which have even finer soind quality, but lack features and this top notch ANC. Battery life so far seems to last me the full 8 hours with ANC, which works so well my gf came home and scared the life outta me while I was napping with them in! Truly cannot hear anything other than a close and loud siren and other hard to predict sounds, but they do the job very well! My one issue is a lack of customization for the quick tap buttons, frustratingly, you cant change the individual settings per bud, rather you have to change the grouped functions per each bud, so if you want playback controls, you get all or nothing on the right or left bud (or both if you so choose). Maybe this can ve fixed with an update, i dont see it being a hard issue to remedy, other than that, automatic 5 stars!!

Good Quality, Holding up after few months

The quality is much better than cheaper earbuds, but with the price that should be expected. It feels very comfortable in the ear and the noise canceling is better than any other earbud. My only complaints are the transparency mode is pretty good, but not as seamless as I think it could be, the app is a little confusing, and setting up the Google Assistant to it is annoying, and the tracking is alright (there's no tracking on the case itself)

But it's way comfortable then XM4, so keeping them.

Use these at work and had to work a 20 hour shift. Earbuds shockingly made it through 14 hours straight of use. Best earbuds I've owned for on-the-go.

The sound quality is excellent and noise cancelling is competitive with my Sony XM4 over ear headphones. Ambient noise detection is a bit odd, picking up a lot of weight room noises that probably aren’t that useful. My biggest concern was that they would fall out mid-lift, but that has not been a problem yet!

Good headphones
