    My favorites, can’t go wrong

    I have the 4’s which are larger and excellent. The 5’s are a lot smaller and just as excellent. I use the 4’s for mowing the lawn (block out all sounds) and tunes. The 5’s for work and clean places like home.

    Ordered these on Wednesday was told they would be here today (Saturday feb 28th) walked in to get them and got told by the lady at the register that they had put it in as i had walked out with them and now its going to take an extra week to get them, and im not seeing the protection plan I ALREADY PAID FOR on them either

    Don’t like the fit. Feels like they’re always going to fall out sometimes they do. I can hear sound from the background and all around. Would rather just stick with AirPods.

    I've been using these for 10 months now and I don't recommend. I own a WH-1000XM4 for 6 years now and it's superb. I would have been happy if these performed half as good but they don't. Noise cancelling is almost non existent. Fit doesn't work for me and sound quality is just OK. My 7 years old cheap Samsung earbuds bits these. Disappointed given these are pricy.

    I have had a good experience using this product. The product is expensive and original. It fell down several times and still functions well.

    I picked these up and tried them for a couple days. The foam tips didnt work for me. Took a long time of adjusting and trying different ear tips, but in the end none of that worked. The right bud sounded like there was a ‘whoosh’ type sound coming from it. Almost like air was blowing over it, but I was in a quiet environment. So probably because of all that, the sound quality was definitely acceptable, but nothing special. Actually thought the airpod pro 2nd generation sounded better

    Bad ear fit with Sony WF1000XM5's

    Probably pretty nice earbuds but neither myself nor my wife could make them fit and seal properly in either L or R ears. We tried all the ear tip sizes included with the buds, but none would achieve a proper seal according to the included test. Fit is of primary importance to us and includes their stability in the ear, wear comfort, and seal (for correct sound isolation/cancelation). If earbuds don't fit, then all their positive attributes fade into the background. Thankfully Best Buy allowed us to return them for full credit. So 5 Stars to them. We have moved on to evaluation of Bose Quite Comfort Ultra Earbuds, also from Best Buy. Evaluation is ongoing.

    Poor noise cancelling compared to Bose Quiet 2

    I have the headphones which have excellent noise cancelling. These earbuds are very poor for noise cancelling which is weird. No idea why. Compared with the Bose Quietcomfort 2 which are superb for the same price.

      Because the WF-1000XM5 uses a different driver and processor than previous models, the noise-canceling performance is heavily dependent on a specific set of factors. Before deciding on a different pair, we recommend trying these steps to see if the performance improves:

      1. Optimize the Seal: Earbuds require a perfect airtight seal to block noise. In the Sony | Sound Connect app, use the "Determines Optimal Earbud Tips" tool. This will test your current fit and tell you if you should switch to a different size tip for either ear.

      2. Proper Insertion: The foam tips on this model should be slightly compressed with your fingers before insertion. Once in your ear, hold them for a few seconds to let the foam expand. This creates the vacuum seal necessary for the noise canceling to work effectively.

      3. Disable Adaptive Sound: Check the app to ensure "Adaptive Sound Control" is turned off. If this is on, the earbuds might be automatically switching to Ambient Mode (letting noise in) because they detect you are walking or moving.

    The headset delivers excellent sound quality for music, but unfortunately, it has poor voice quality for calls. Despite being pricier than the Apple alternative, it lacks volume adjustment from the earplugs. It should suffice for listening to music or watching movies, but I wouldn't recommend it for phone calls or Zoom meetings.

    Amazing Sound Quality, Otherwise Garbage

    Sound quality is unrivaled. Nose cancellation is unrivaled. Doesn't matter when you essentially can't use them for phone calls. App on Android disappears so you have to search it in the app store to open it. Can't modify tap functions so if you try to adjust an earbud in a call you end up hanging up on the call. App is absolute trash and Sony should be ashamed.
