Battery life, sound quality, and great noise cance

I end up only using one bud at a time when at work so with the case i get about 24 hrs of play. They are also a good fitting earbud with the wide size of tips they have. Also noting the have more of a foam texture/feel to lock in that sound. Overall one of my favorites and sony remains my daily go to.

Beware eartip fit

The battery life is good, sound is awesome, software is easy to use. My problem lies in the fit of these buds. No matter the size ear tip, they constantly need reseating. And I mean constantly. Every couple minutes. I spent $200 on aftermarket eartips, the problem persists through all types and brands. I believe it just has to do with the weight distribution in the buds themselves. Overall I would not buy again. The stock eartips are the worst I’ve ever seen or used.

Trading Lightweight for Sturdy Build Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've bought a lot of Sony Headphones over the years, one pair being last generations WF-1000XM4's. It's hard to deny that these sound really really good, it's hard to say whether they sound better than the last generation or not, but they certainly sound as good as the last generation! The only big tradeoff for me that I think the lightweight build quality makes the headphones feel cheaper than they are. The last headphones looked and felt as high quality as they sounded, and it added a tiny amount of extra weight but it also didn't feel like it would shatter if I accidentally dropped it. Sound quality and customizability is still incredible, but I wish they had kept the premium feel to the materials too.

You can download the Sony headphones app to control even more options. They come with four different size tips you can choose from. So much more comfortable than others I have used in the past. Well worth the price tag!

Best earbuds I've ever purchased.

I was worried these would fall out like other eardbuds, but these stay put. The ANC is probably as good as any earbud can be and works really well. In the app your able to adjust EQ and test fitment as well.

They are simply the best, clearest, most detailed and realistic sounding wireless earbuds you’ll find. I guess your mileage may vary depending on what you’re listening to, what source you’re listening to, and what codec. But even from an iPhone that only supports AAC these sound great compared to airpods pro 2. You’re definitely missing out though if not using LDAC codec. If you have a Galaxy device be sure to enable it in Bluetooth settings for the device and ensure Sony app is configured to prioritize clarity.

Good quality earbuds

Touchdown Sony!

The sound quality is amazing. I do not want to take them off...lol. Also, I have had three phone conversations, and all three people stated that I sounded loud and clear...way better than before. Worth it!

Good, not great

I’ve made the upgrade so the xm5’s after Sony royally messed up on the xm4 firmware. Sound quality is the same as xm4. I like that they are now smaller and that’s about as good as it gets. Sometimes I experience the sound cutting in and out at the gym. Currently too afraid to upgrade the firmware.
