We are so glad to hear you are loving your WF-1000XM5 overall! We really appreciate you calling out that annoyance with them staying connected to your phone while they are sitting in the charging case. That usually happens if the charging pins inside the case or on the earbuds get a little bit of dust or oil on them, which tricks the earbuds into thinking they aren't fully docked yet. Giving those little gold contacts a quick wipe with a dry cloth or cotton swab usually fixes that right up.
