I love it Very light and nice Sound is great Good quality and very confortable

After weeks of use I can say I firmly enjoy these earbuds. Has a heavy equipment operator they are perfect with noise cancelling setting and have great audio while lasting just long enough for a full days work. The only complaint i could say is they would be a little more comfy if they were just a tad lighter. Overall great product.

The Sony WF1000XM5 earbuds are pricey - even at the sale price - but sound fantastic. Both bass and treble come through more clearly than on my Samsung Buds and voices are even more clear. They also pair very easily with my other devices and can connect to 2 devices at the same time. On the whole, I am very satisfied with them, though they were a bit expensive.

I loved them so much I bought a second pair of a guy on FB marketplace. I'm an asphalt guy and work regularly more than 12 hours daily in the summer. With LDAC, sound sent to priority if you don't use any ambient noise or noise cancelling these regularly last more than 12 hours. I put them in my ears at 630am and don't take them out until 630 or later. If there is a rare time they need to be charged on a late day a quick charge for like 10 min gets me like 5 more hours. Case lasts 2 days but no longer. Also the with Spotify Lossless they are the greatest headphones I have ever listened to. Work great as ear plugs in and around equipment. App can get weird but main settings are in android Bluetooth settings anyways.

-I dont think these are an upgrade from the Sony XM4 earbuds. They are significantly smaller than the XM4s which makes them more comfortable but the fit is actually significantly worse. The eartips are very thin and do not hold a seal which ruins the ANC and lead to me adjusting them much more which eventually made them uncomfortable. -The sound is good but no upgrade from the XM4 and falls behind the Bose QC Ultra earbuds. The EQ is very powerful and really lets you tune the sound to your preferences. -The connectivity is good but doesnt compete with the range and signal strength of the Jabra Elite 10 earbuds, plus the multi point connection often messes up and switches devices even if you are playing noise from the original device, very annoying. -The phone call quality is very strong and handles outside noise during calls very well. Significantly better than the Bose QC earbuds, Samsung Buds2 Pro and Jabra Elite 10. The Jabra Elite 10 being the second best for phone calls. -I would say maybe try these if the XM4s were too big and plan on returning them if the eartips dont work with your ears.

These sound absolutely amazing and are super easy to use as well as customize using the app. Only reason these aren’t perfect is that they are a little heavy sitting in the ears and can start to hurt a little bit. However after a few months they feel as comfortable as can be.

Great earbuds, I use them for my job mainly 8 to 10 hours with no problems on the battery life, but the real deal for me is the noise cancellation because I do a lot of concrete chipping , grinding, sometimes sandblast and those are really noisy, normally if I use a regular ear plugs the level of noise is bad and I end up with a ring in my ears for the rest off the day but with this earbuds I can work listen to my music and still have a conversation with someone else without having to blast the volume all the way up.

I've owned both the XM3 and the XM4; I am a total Sony headphone advocate but I really did not enjoy the XM5 and am returning it. The XM4s were quite a bit louder and the connection on them seemed better. The XM5s cut out on me far more frequently than the previous version and while the size and fit are much better, I decided that these aren't worth keeping for $300. Maybe around the holidays it'll get closer to $200 and it might be worth it; but when the AirPods Pro 2 can be picked up for $100 less, I really can't justify the price of these buds. At least the AP2s are louder, not to mention they have extra features if you're an iPhone user. In comparison, the Beat Fit Pro, which I purchased refurbished for around $100 is close enough in sound quality and noise cancelation that it was a far better buy for me. Android users, your use by vary but this is the first time one of the flagship Sony headphones have made me go... "meh"

So like half of the world having the I phone ear buds I was tired of them always falling out or distorting so I went and got these buds!!! THE BEST ones that I know of!! Bass is there treble is there the clarity is on point!!! The noise cancel is mind blowing!!!! I get that they are a little expensive but ditch the I phone buds and get these !! You won’t go wrong!! Also a big upgrade they don’t fall out

Very good headphones. Sound quality is amazing. Nice bass. Good noise cancelling. I like that you can switch between devices. I use two phone for work and this a very handy. I would have given five stars but the call quality is not very good. People have a hard time hearing me when. Using the headphones.

Best ear buds I've owned. Sound quality is second only to my professional studio headphones. Noise cancelling is wonderful, I can now play music at Lowe's volumes on the bus and hear Clearly. App is minimal and convenient. Controls are responsive without being too sensitive. Did perfectly in ears but comes with different sizes.

I’ve always struggled to find earbuds that stay in my ear. Sony’s WF1000XM5 have, by far, been the best set of earbuds I have ever tried. While wearing them in bed, I had fallen asleep with them in by accident and in the morning when I woke up they were still in my ear! I’ve never had that luxury before. Best part was they weren’t even close to falling out. That paired with the amazing noise canceling and superb sound quality, they have easily beaten any earbuds I’ve tried!

As someone who owned the apple air-pods pro 2, and tried both the Bose QC ultras and Technics az100…do not settle for less. These bring the whole package in terms of astonishing sound quality and clear, crisp instrumentals along with a tight base. The ANC quality is fantastic, leaving nothing between you and your music experience. I constantly find myself reaching for these in excitement when I want a concert like experience at any random moment, coffee shops, my workplace, even at home before going to bed. They are that good..

Sound and NC seem largely the same but the change in size and fit are dramatically better for me. I use my XM4s a lot, waited a long time since other reviews said they were the same but worth a shot if you get them on sale. I barely notice they are in and they still have a solid seal. TBD on battery life.
