Has cause soreness in the ears if worn for a very extended period of time, so making sure these fit the shape of your ear is important. These may not fit everyone.

He had gone thru so many different types of earbuds that broke down. So I opted to spend a little more to get a better quality product. They fit well in the ear and are sweat proof. That's definitely not the experience we want for our customers. We also appreciate you letting us know about the issue with them falling out of the case.
For the connection issues and notification problems, we have a few recommendations that might help:
1. Try turning Bluetooth off on your phone and then back on. You can also try "forgetting" the WF-1000XM5 in your phone's Bluetooth settings, then re-pairing them.
2. Make sure your earbuds have the latest software. You can do this through the Sony | Sound Connect app.

Like the wf-1000xm4 but…

I went through two pair of those though because I would over charge the battery and in turn the charge diminished. Optimistic, I decide to try these pair because they were newer. They’re a lot lighter than the xm4 and the sound quality seems just as good but not better. The ANC also seems not a strong as the previous generation. I try not to over charge these as well, but in prime condition, the previous generation seem to last longer. Over theyre a pretty decent pair of earbuds. I might have an attachment to the previous generation because they were so good and I might enjoy these better if I don’t try to compare it to the previous ones.

You can tweak with the levels, but feel the older bigger ones had better sound. These are super comfortable!

Awesome noise cancelling earbuds!

My only gripe and concern is the tips that come with the earbuds aren't comfortable in my ears and the price is too darn high.

I have had issues with other earphones in the past with phone call cutting in and out but these are a amazing they have really improved them. They only struggle to connect to some device but I think that may be a bug.

Overpriced but decent performance
