Great Headphones, Everything Works Great

The pairing process to Apple products is pretty clunky and kind of frustrating however, and Sony could do a better job at making the process more seamless. Once you pair these they sound really great. I'd say the AirPods Pro 2 sound just a little better than the Sony's, but I believe you can play around with the EQ settings in the Sony app to make it sound to your liking. Also, I believe these headphones and Sony headphones in general will preserve your hearing more than other brands, I have nothing to back it up, it's just from observation and my personal experience from using these Sony headphones and others. These are high-quality headphones and would recommend picking these up if you're in the market for in-ears.

Best earbuds on the market

I feel they feel and sound much better than apple buds, and some with 3 extra sets of size tips so you can really get a nice feel. Use them for workouts, walks, when I’m shoveling, or when I’m doing projects around the house.

They’re smaller in your ear so it's a great fix for working out and more and NEVER have to worry about them falling out. The sound is better than ever, and I qould recommend these to anyone who isn't worried about paying the high price for a great product.

I use them at work and they last all day and then some. I can still talk to people and hear them, and when I need to use a power tool, one tap on the left bud turns on noise cancellation. Perfect for what I need them for.

Would reccomend whenever theyre on sale cause 300$ is a lot but i got them flr 250 which was decent wnough bjt they sometimes go to 230

Good, but not great - suggest trying before buying

The sound quality is good in a controlled environment, but for activities and plane travel not so good in my opinion. I bought these after using the Sony WH-1000XM5 over-ear headphones. I wanted a more portable option. Unfortunately these will not fit my ears well. At home I tried all ear cup options that came with it, and also bought an after market version. After finding the best fit and wearing them at home (still concerned with them falling out), I traveled with them. On the plane they kept falling out after 15-20 minutes. Then touching them causes the controls to kick-in. I finally disabled the touch controls, and had to keep pushing them in. Even with tight fit after pushing in, the noise canceling is not near the quality of the Sony WH-1000XM5. I know it won't match an over-the ear style, but was quite disappointed overall. For plane travel now I will only use the Sony WH-1000XM5.

Wow what an improvement. Yes, the app setup requires patience. But, during regular use the only setting I adjust is noise cancelling vs. some ambient sound. I use none of the fancy spatial settings because they are just weird. I don't want to move my head and have the sound move. Who likes this? I simply do not agree with online reviewers that say advanced sound codecs don't make a noticeable difference. I've got serious noise damage and switching on the LDAC makes a monster positive difference on my android (sorry iphone people). The sound is rich and full for two really tiny buds. My first set of buds with no ear clip and these are very secure. Call quality great! So rare today.

Great earbuds but very poor ear-tips

The app is great and has lots of great features. The only issue I find with those earbuds are the ear tips. The air foam ear tips do not stay in their position within the ear canal. After trying all the fitting sizes, none of them seem to provide enough comfort and keep moving out of place. It is disappointing for pricey earbuds like those to have cheap and uncomfortable ear tips. I believe Sony can improve the ear tips in the future and improve the design and comfort level of those buds. One improvement that could be considered for the future is including ear wings to stabilize the ear tips in the ear canal.

The noise cancelling is great. The app is simple to use and there are plenty of YouTubers who have published EQ’s and info to get the best bang for your buck. Sony continues to put out firmware updates to improve the connectivity and sound but I wish they would have given these more effort. All in all I would give these a 7.5 out of 10. I’m happy with them but the difference between these and the previous model is minimal.

Buds are aliitle smaller and lighter and the case is definitely smaller. The sound is about the same as the older version but the noise canceling seems better. Worth the money in my opinion.
