Very impressed with noise canceling and clarity. I was at the gym and they were pumping music. I got a call and I answered the phone. The earbuds quickly switched to the call and had a quick conversation and then hung up. Noise canceling worked so good the caller never heard the music playing in the gym. Walking on a windy day down a sidewalk and had a conversation on the phone without any trouble. Different style music play well anywhere. Music automatically stops when responding to someone in a conversation is amazing. If you're listening to music the music stops and you can begin to have a conversation. Once the earbuds know you have stopped talking then the music will begin to play. I really like this feature.

Buy some spinfit omni earbuds ends and you are set.

I use mine mostly in the shop. The ambient mode works great. All i have to do is talk. Music stops plaing. So I can have a basic conversation. The noise cancelling is great. The app is simple to use and there are plenty of YouTubers who have published EQ’s and info to get the best bang for your buck. Sony continues to put out firmware updates to improve the connectivity and sound but I wish they would have given these more effort. All in all I would give these a 7.5 out of 10. I’m happy with them but the difference between these and the previous model is minimal.

I have always had issues with earbuds falling out of my ears. These actually stay in my ears. The sound quality is really good and the ANC is much better than i expected for ear buds. Good ANC and sound, awful for workouts

The touch sensors (which this has instead of buttons) have a really annoying delay which makes it hard to tell if my press registered, so I try pressing again and it turns out both registered so now I paused then unpaused my song and I sit there looking like an idiot for 30 seconds while someone is trying to talk to me, but I can't take the ear buds out because the wear detectors will detect my fingers so my music will play and pause repeatedly in my other ear. Also if I'm working out and my hair gets sweaty and touches the buds, they think I pressed them so it starts pausing or skipping my song every 10 seconds, and wiping them off doesn't fix it so I just need to end my workout early. And sometimes (maybe sweat got in the microphone?) the ANC in one bud will break and make a constant buzzing sound for a day or two before it goes back to normal. First impressions were really good, but the little annoyances and design flaws are a death by a thousand paper cuts. They're decent for sitting still at a desk, but incredibly annoying at the gym.

Your feedback about the touch sensor is greatly appreciated. For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the headphones is up-to-date (via the Sony Sound Connect app).
When tapping the touch sensor multiple times, tap it quickly with an interval of about 0.3 seconds between taps. Tap the center of the touch sensor with the pad of your index finger. If the surface of your index finger is wet, greasy, dirty, too dry, etc., the headset may not respond well to tapping. If the touch sensor is in the following states, it may not work or may react incorrectly:
-It is wet with water, sweat, etc.
-It is touched by hair, wet towels, etc.
