At the same time, we're really sorry to hear they aren't staying put. That can be super frustrating, especially when you're on the move. We'd recommend trying out the different sizes of earbud tips included in the box. Switching to a larger or smaller size can usually help find that "perfect fit" to keep them secure while you're working out.

I'm a bit of an audiophile, and these earbuds give me exactly what I'm looking for. It's an experience using them and I have specific playlists just for when I listen with these. Not to mention the noise cancelling is pretty darn good. These earbuds are costly, yes, but in my opinion, they are worth every penny. Not to mention the FEATURES that come with it!! So many things you can do through the Sony app that is paired with your earbuds. I love love love them and will recommend it to anyone.

When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The most suitable size of the earbud tips for left and right ears may be different.

Better than before, but I have a defective unit

When I saw the newer version, i was so excited, preordered, and was one of the first to receive it. The sound quality is definitely better, fitment is nice, and the overall quality has improved. However the left earbud kept losing its charge. When I open the case and try to use them, i would see the left at 1% or 0% batery while the right and case are at 100%. I would need to get a replacement to hoping that I had a defective unit.

For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the headphones is up-to-date (via the Sony Headphones Connect app).
You may also find these steps helpful:
-Make sure the headset units are stored securely in the supplied charging case. If the headset units are floating in the charging case, the headset units may not be charged.
-When the charging ports of the headset units or the charging case get dirty, the headset units may not be charged. Clean the charging ports with a soft dry cloth.
-The left or right headset unit works as the main headset unit, so it consumes the rechargeable battery faster than the other unit. There is a difference in charging time between the left and right headset units, but this is not a malfunction. The left or the right headset unit can be the “main headset unit” depending on the usage environment.
Resetting and initializing the headset may also help resolve the issue:
Resetting the headset
-Set the headset units into the charging case. Leave the charging case lid open.
-Press and hold the reset button on the back of the charging case for about 20 seconds or more. After about 15 seconds, the indicator (orange) on the charging case flashes for about 5 seconds. Then, the indicator on the charging case turns off and the headset will be reset. Note: Do not release your finger from the reset button on the charging case while the indicator (orange) is flashing. If you release your finger, the headset will be initialized.
-Check that the indicator turns off and then release your finger.
If the headset does not operate correctly even after resetting, initialize the headset to restore factory settings.
Initializing the headset
-Set the headset units into the charging case. Leave the charging case lid open.
-Press and hold the initialize button on the back of the charging case for about 15 seconds or more.
The indicator (blue) on the charging case repeatedly flashes twice in a row, and then the indicator (orange) starts flashing.
-Release your finger within 5 seconds after the indicator (orange) on the charging case starts flashing. When the initializing is complete, the indicator (green) on the charging case flashes 4 times.
This operation resets volume settings, etc. to the factory settings, and deletes all pairing information. In this case, delete the pairing information for the headset from the connected device and then pair them again.

Not as Dynamic as I thought

I spent the first few hours comparing both, and the Galaxy Buds Pro 3 delivered a more dynamic sound with richer bass that the XM5s just couldn’t match. The Galaxy Buds were also noticeably louder. On the positive side, the XM5s fit more comfortably than the Buds Pro 3. However, I found myself constantly readjusting them whenever I smiled or engaged in any activity, which became frustrating. Even after switching to the larger ear tips, the fit didn’t improve significantly. Overall, while the comfort was better, the sound quality and stability fell short of my expectations. I’ll be returning these.

I used the previous generation for over 3 years, and the sound quality of this new version is a noticeable upgrade. Excusing the forgetful name, this is an amazing product. This is my go to earbuds for travel and ANC and just about everything. If stays in my ears perfectly and comfortable for long flights. This has better ANC than Beats, and the Sony has really good connection with iPhone. I only used the Beats fit pro for gym because I sweat lot and don't want get the Sony dirty. Also, the touch sensors are very responsive, where as every time I try to adjust the Beats during workout, I accidentally click the button.
