It could be a deal breaker for me until I found a solution. I have to buy a $25 third party tips to make it work with my ear. I would give it 5 stars if I dont have to spend extra money. $300 headphone should come with premium tips already.

Good But Not For Me

Feels like I have earplugs in. Bose are WAY more comfortable and just as secure. These earbuds are also VERY slippery and hard to get ahold of while in the case.

Change the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. Amazing Quality Earbuds, Fitment was not for me

These earbuds are amazing. The quality and features alone stand out among competitors. However, I did have issues with fitment. I tried all of the provided ear tips but the never fit well enough and this is a larger issue for me cause I wanted to use them while working out with as well. I am not a fan of the memory foam type ear tips so I did return them and tried out the Bose which had better fitment but did notice that the Sony buds had better sound quality and loudness.

Only downside is the ear tips that come with them hurt my ears. I found some others online and the problem was fixed. They sound good but aren't as comfortable as others I've worn. I personally have a mixed ipuon about them. On one hand they sound nice and on the toebt hand they aren't as comfortable as my Jabra elite pro 7s.

For optimum performance, make sure to install the latest software version of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app). You can also adjust the settings of the Ambient Sound Mode (via the Sony app) depending on your needs. Voice focus: Unwanted noise will be suppressed while announcements or people’s voices are picked up, allowing you to hear them as you listen to music.

I tweaked the EQ easily in the app, and the performance is incredible. Highly reccomend as they offer phenomenal noise cancelling and sound quality - better sound quality than the Bose equivalent in my opinion.

You can also check the battery percentage even if you're not using the app. When the headset is connected to an iPhone or iPod touch over an HFP (Hands-free Profile) Bluetooth connection, it will show an icon that indicates the remaining battery charge of the headset on the screen of the iPhone or iPod touch. The remaining battery charge of the headset is also displayed on the widget of an iPhone or iPod touch running iOS 11 or later. Amazing sound and build, poor everything else

It's a shame that the touch controls make them impossible to put in without touching everything, they are quite uncomfortable (and I sleep with earplugs so I am used to them), and the noise cancellation is basically non existent, you can not tell the difference between it being on and off, the only real cancellation comes from the foam tips and it being earplugs. I switched to the bose qc ultra earbuds that have amazing noise cancellation, comparable sound quality, and better comfort and controls.
