Great, high quality sound!

My favorite thing is the high quality audio playback. If you listen to lossless audio, these are the perfect choice. I can finally enjoy listening to the quality of FLAC audio on my phone. I also have them paired with my PC. The app for the earbuds is also very easy to use, it recently got a design overhaul. Highly recommend these earbuds.

The best so far

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've tried almost every wireless earbuds from apple, LG, Sony, Jbl, LG, anker, etc and these are simply the best and the only pair honestly worth over $100. The sound quality is similar to wired earbuds in the 250-400$ range, they can connect to any 2 devices at a time (not just Apple or just Android or just pc) so you can hear your phone and pc without having to reconnect to Bluetooth, the noise canceling is good. The only real issue is that the foam tips it comes with are too rubbery and chafe my inner ear canal where they sit. I got comply foam tips instead and now these earbuds are pretty much perfect to me

Good or bad?

The google assistant can be a bit frusterating, and the the touch sensitivity for headpjones isnt that good. i have to tap a few times to turn on/off noise cancellation. Noise cancellation sometimes turns on/off by itself idk if its an issue w just my earphones alone, maybe cause i habe longer hair? When your working out you can somewhat hear headphones bouncing in ear. I love thebsound quality tho, makes it worth it. Wish theyd fix the additional features

Nice earbuds

Sound great, and the noise canceling is also great. Sometimes I just put them in just for the sake of dampening loud noise and they get the job done.

Active Noise cancelling is top-notch. No issue with the connectivity for Iphone16 pro max. Cons: limitation in foam ear tips. Hopefully next version will provide more foam tips.

Better than there predecessor but still not perfct

In my opinion, the positive outweigh the negative in the last three months I have bought and returned many of the higher end earbuds. Apple airpods still the best at doing everything well. Sonys are close to airpods but the sound is much better than apples neutral sound. In my opinion that should be the only thing one should consider before making decision.

Make sure that the headphones software is updated as it includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements.
Set the headset to “Priority on stable connection"
Remove any obstacles between the headphones and smartphone.
Bluetooth communications may be disabled, or noise or audio dropout may occur under the following conditions.
When there is a human body between the headset and the Bluetooth device
When this is the case, turn the Bluetooth device to face the same direction as the antenna of the headset to improve the Bluetooth communications.
When there is an obstacle, such as metal or a wall, between the headset and the Bluetooth device
In places with wireless LAN, where a microwave oven is used, electromagnetic waves are generated, etc.
Where there are other wireless communication audio devices or other people nearby, such as in train station premises or on a crowded train.
If you are enjoying music with your smartphone, the situation may be improved by closing unnecessary apps or restarting your smartphone.
Connect the headset and the Bluetooth device once again.
Reset the headset.
Initialize the headset, and pair the headset and the device again.
The WF1000XM5 may also fall out or feel uncomfortable during use if you don't wear the unit properly. Change the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The most suitable size of the earbud tips for left and right ears may be different.
The “Sony | Headphones Connect” app will help you to determine which earbud tips suit you best to achieve the optimal noise canceling effect, sound quality, etc.
Perform [Determines Optimal Earbud Tips] and confirm that [Earbud tips are air-tight.] is displayed.
If the display is a display other than the above, push the earbud tip slowly into your ear canal or replace it with another earpiece and measure again.
