    Burned yet again.

    Did I like them? Yes. Would i recommend? NO. I just recently got my third pair. My first I had to exchange immediately. One of the buds kept making a beeping noise. The second pair maybe lasted me 6 months. I will have to go back a look. But eventually the buds and case just stopped turning on. Now the recent pair I bought 19 days ago. Just a few days past the return date case is having troubles charging. I will have to start the process with sony to see what they can do. In the mean time will have to find another brand. I work too much to not have buds

    Not as good as the previous version definitely a bit underwhelming sound quality definitely went down and there's really no difference in the noise cancelling and the ambient sound I would have stayed with my old pair if I knew they'd be like this

The WF-1000XM5 headphones have a new high-performance driver unit Dynamic Driver X, dual feedback microphones, and innovative Noise Isolation Earbud Tip that improved the noise canceling feature and sound quality compared to their predecessor. Please make sure you are wearing them correctly and adjust the fit of the headset units to your ears. Hold and rotate the headset unit with your thumb, index, and middle finger to adjust the headset to fit your ear. After putting the headset unit into your ear, hold the side of the headset unit with your fingers and slowly push the earbud tip into your ear canal.     I have had countless pairs of earbuds throughout the years, but I have to say that these Sony WF1000XM5 True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds are outstanding. The first thing you will notice will be the size and weight of these Sony earbuds. The charging case and the earbuds are very small and lightweight. The charging case can easily fit in your pockets. The next thing you have to figure out is the size of the eartips that fit properly. There are two major factors that I consider when purchasing earbuds and comfort is a close second next to sound quality. The ear pieces are extremely comfortable and easy to adjust. I found myself wearing these for 3 hours without any discomfort. I highly recommend that you download the Sony Headphones app as this will allow you to enjoy and explore all of the features of these earbuds. The next two items are the really important ones to me when it comes to these Sony earbuds. The first part is the sound quality, it is truly amazing! The app comes with a customizable 5-band EQ adjustment. This makes a world of a difference when it comes to sound quality. The second item is also extremely good on these earbuds; the noise-cancellation feature. Noise-cancellation is top of the line on this pair. I commute every day and having this option is a must. These Sony do an excellent job of cancelling the ambient noise. Some of other features that stood out is the battery life, ease of bluetooth connection and the use of head motions to answer phone calls. Overall, I was very impressed with these Sony earbuds and I would highly recommend them for anyone looking to purchase high quality earbuds.

    Tried all of the different size foam tips and these things will absolutely not stay in my ears at all. Wish they had wing tips or something to keep them from falling out but unfortunately these arent for me. Wanted to love them but sadly i will be returning these. Ear buds look great and the case is very nice. Supporting app was also nice and wasy to setup otherwise.

    These earbuds basically didn't do any noise cancelling. I literally turned on and off the ANC and could very barely tell it was turned off. The battery on the case also was terrible and died after a few uses because it's tiny.

    Way too expensive for the mid comfort and low bass and volume, even with the app’s various sound adjustors. Returned amd got airpod pros.

    My right speaker cuts out every time i look to the right. and they are $100 more than thee Bose and are not half as good. Also they wont stay in when your active. Wast of $$

    Had these for 3 months. About to throw them out. Using with an iPhone 15 and Samsung Flip 5. When I make calls and there is any background noise people tell me that they can not hear me. They also frequently disconnect from my iPhone and Samsung Android phone. Going back to my Apple Air Pod Pros. Stay away…..these are terrible.

    I purchased these headphones after watching several reviews online. I hesitated a little due to battery issues with previous generations. I pulled the gun anyway, and purchased them. The left earbud went out exactly 2 weeks later. I'm now trying to replace them through sony's mfg warranty. This really sucks.

    These sound great and fit okay aside from pain. Xm4s fell out less. I returned these since they’re slippery and don’t fit with available tips (for me)

    Left ear bud stopped producing audio a little more than year in. Warranty is only year despite a relatively high price, so they are not covered. Worked well up until this happened, very upsetting.

    I'm disappointed in this purchase. I thought it would have megabase and it doesn't plus the overall sound quality is not what it used to be with Sony. For $300.00 trust me you can do way better

    Sound is pedestrian, limited bass buggy

    The ear piece is secured by a foam cover. This does not stay fixed in the ear and has to be constantly readjusted. Every time you touch the bud out activates a stop, start, skip, etc function rendering the device useless.

    I love them . They are super lightweight comfortable. They have with multiple ear shaped to fit comfortably and they last for hours . Working out they don’t fall go easily and the noise cancelling really blocks people talking

    2 Star with the included foam tips because none fit and none block the noise well. 5 Star with aftermarket tips. These earbuds are great but the foam tips ruin the experience.

    Mic suffers

    Ear buds fit fine but the mic would suffer and fail to pick up my voice during calls with background noise. Noise cancellation was ok. May be great depending on your environment.

    Don’t Buy

    Nothing but problems with these headphones. When I put the earbuds into my ear, no sound comes out of the right ear. I have to reset the right earbud into the case and then pull it out again, every single time, which is really annoying. I’ve been dealing with Sony technical support on this and they’re absolutely terrible to deal with.
