We're glad that you like the sound quality and dedicated app (Sony Headphones Connect) of the headphones. It's unfortunate that you had connectivity issue with the earbuds. For optimum performance, it is recommended to install the latest software version of the headphones (via the Sony app). Both earbuds must placed correctly on the charging case. Each headset unit will be set to the correct position in the charging case by the built-in magnet. Resetting and initializing the headset may also help resolve the issue.

With that being said i was will to oay the premium in efforts to get 5 star noise canceling and it just isnt quite there. They are equal to mt samsung buds pro 2.

Long term use ruins transparency/ANC

I don't know what about my daily use case is that does this, but I have repeatedly gotten a loud white noise after a couple months of use that destroys the quality of transparency and ANC. This is NOT the white noise that might typically come from ANC. This is almost like heavy rain, or a loud rumbling coming from one of the buds that completely ruins the listening experience. It appears all the sudden in one fell swoop and then will not go away. While I do truly enjoy the sound quality and user experience, and all the bells and whistles, I cannot accept these long term issues.

Not Noise Cancelling

I had the previous version and there was zero outside noise unless you selected ambient noise. This version doesn't block all of the ambiet noise, it rather supresses it.
