    Love them so much i bought it twice

    I love the sound quality of the Sony WMF. I misplcaed my last pair and had yo rebuy the in earphones. The only issue is that the ear tips are the most secure. I constantly worry abotj them falling out durinh a flight and loosing it

    Amazing sound quality, great features built in like head nods and finger taps, and excellent battery life. If these are even $10 off, you should go for it. However, if you are looking for something even more sonically accurate, then you better pony up the dough for professional IEM’s.

    They weren't bad earbuds but i dont know what the hype was about with them being the best sounding earbuds. Good but not worth the money

    Improved clarity of sound vs last model. They are noticably more comfortable than previous model but did not fit in my ears as snug. Returned due to this reason, continued using previous model.

    Like the wf-1000xm4 but…

    Before these, I had the WF XM4 pair and those were my favorite headphones for a while. I went through two pair of those though because I would over charge the battery and in turn the charge diminished. Optimistic, I decide to try these pair because they were newer. They’re a lot lighter than the xm4 and the sound quality seems just as good but not better. The ANC also seems not a strong as the previous generation. I try not to over charge these as well, but in prime condition, the previous generation seem to last longer. Over theyre a pretty decent pair of earbuds. I might have an attachment to the previous generation because they were so good and I might enjoy these better if I don’t try to compare it to the previous ones.

    Pefect now that they are $200

    Do yourself a favor and snap these up @ $200 (were $300) I never though Noise cancelling was that big of a deal, but you turn this on and the sound is so much better. Buy some spinfit omni earbuds ends and you are set.

    Excellent sound quality even from devices that aren't LDAC compatible. Haven't heard a better set of Bluetooth earbuds. Fit is snug and secure for the most part. Noise cancelling for both listening and during calls is excellent. Haven't had any issues with connectivity on LDAC even in a crowded gym. Highly recommend.

    These are really comfortable earbuds and do a wonderful job in terms of sound quality for wireless headphones. The active noise canceling is impressive and the device free controls are pretty easy to use too. While they still don't hold a candle to wired options, these are a good option for on the go listening.

    Connectivity Issues

    The buds are excellent when they work. But there is a quirk in that, when taking them out of the case, I very often need to put them back in and pull them back out again just so they will connect. This has happened on two pairs, and I have given up trying to replace them as a solution.

    Big bang for the buck!

    Excellent sound and very easy to use. Bass was much better than expected, but the clarity of sound is impressive for the money. I was able to hear notes and instruments that got lost on my old headphones. Occaisionally the bluetooth will freeze or show a little lag, but not too bad. Would buy these again.

    These are a step up from the 1000XM4 in all ways. Better noice cancelling, more comfortable fit and significantly smaller. The previous version was good but with these I can talk to someone while at work (I'm a telecom tower climber) and clearly hear them and vise versa with the wind howling! amazing!

    Laundry Resistant (Not recommended way to clean)

    Sound quality on point. Let's talk about how water resistant they are. I will keep it simple. Couldn't find my earbuds. Looking everywhere. (Maybe need a last location on find my iPhone, just saying). Can't find them, :/ Next day doing laundry, went to the dryer and see my earbud sitting on the edge. Heartbroken, I went to charge them in the case. Lights are working, a glimmer of hope. Moment of truth, they work. Only thing that stopped working was my right earbud touch sensor doesn't respond anymore.

Regarding water resistance, the WF-1000XM5 earbuds have an IPX4 rating, which means they are protected against water splashing from any direction. It's impressive that your earbuds survived a trip through the dryer, although we recommend avoiding such situations to prevent potential damage. The touch sensor issue on your right earbud might be a result of the exposure to water and heat. For future reference, if your earbuds get wet, use a soft dry cloth to wipe off any water, remove the earbud tips, and shake the earbuds gently to remove any water from the sound conduits and microphone parts.     There were a gift for my husband. He had gone thru so many different types of earbuds that broke down. So I opted to spend a little more to get a better quality product. They fit well in the ear and are sweat proof. My husband said they are the best he's ever had. The sound quality is amazing.

    These earbuds are the perfect fit, all the rest hit been too big and had my ears sore after awhile and also the bad fit affects sound quality. These fit perfect and that perfect fit makes the sound on these the best ones ive had. Sorry huge eared people, youve had your day, now its time for the regular eared people

    Having Some Issues

    Over all, they sound good. I upgraded when I was having battery issues with the xm4 model. The battery life here is stellar. This model has similar memory foam ear tips, which I like, and the touch sensors are a little better. The noise canceling is no different to me than just having it turned off, the ear tips block out enough sound that noise cancelation is useless and just uses battery. If you just turn the sound setting to "off" they isolate you without using extra battery, so for the money, the sound cancelation is kind of a let down. Ambient sound mode isn't as good as the previous model so if you're only using one ear bud, you still feel like your ear is plugged up, even with ambient sound turnned up to 20. When I switch between ambient and off, they stop my music. Same thing happens if you use temporary awareness mode. The left ear bud has begun having connectivity issues and the right bud's having some bugs with the touch sensor not working for playback unless you change the function to something else and then switch it back. They no longer make a tone to signify that they are turned on and connected, on either bud when used alone or together. Sometimes they have random functionality issues when the app is active. I really like the way they sound, fit, and the app is ok, they're just very disappointing especially having so many issues in the past with Sony. I'll probably see if I can get them replaced under warranty, as they're less than 6 months old. I want to be clear, this is at no fault of Best Buy. I've not tried other equal models, but I'm leaning toward that. If the connectivity and other bugs weren't an issue, I'd be able to look past the inherent flaws they have with noise cancelation.

    Ear buds

    These replaced the previous version, which stopped working. They are a little bigger and have more features. One thing that happens too often is that the connection between the phone and earbuds breaks. Then when the phone rings, I have to reconnect the earbuds while the person waits. I use these mostly to listen to the TV when not on the phone.
