The sound is quite good and the UI has improved a bit. I also have the WF1000XM4 and those are more comfortable by far, these hurt my ears after an hour or so (I could wear the XM4s all day). The newer headphone do not sit in their case easily, the old generation snapped into the charging case very nicely. There is no improvement to the Bluetooth connection or range, in fact it seems worse. Over the improvements do not outweigh the negatives of the newer model (which only lasted me about a year). More planned obsolescence trash unfortunately.

The sound clarity if average and I have a pair of tone that are just as good. For the money I would go with a different brand. I do appreciate Sony's products but these earbuds not what I expected.
