    I was expecting a lot for what these cost and honestly very disappointing, I had last model which was bulky and constantly falling out of my ears despite needing to buy third party earbud tips, unfortunately story hasn’t changed with this model, ANC is really bad with earbud tips that these ones arrive with, like I heard absolutely all the noise around me, so people suggested to buy third party earbud tips, which I did and ANC improved but I still heard plenty of noise. Sound is not bad, but due to sliding out of my ear required frequent manual adjustment which caused changes since I actually had to touch each earbud. I figured since I’m using Sony Xperia 1 V phone that these would work great, but when compared to Apple AirPods Pro 2 and Bose Quietcomfort Earbuds II, Bose just wins on every level.

    Bought the ear buds on May 20 and my return window apparently is june 3rd. My left ear bud is cutting out every 10 min. Or so. This is why I try not to buy from BestBuy. Most stores provide a 30 day exchange window without buying a special membership. NO MORE BESTBUY with tvs especially. Sorry Best Buy you can do better than that..

    Though it sounded better than Jabra elite 10 gen 2 when talking via MS Teams from a laptop, it sounded horrible on music listening. It also doesn't fit any better than Jabra. Waste of money. I'm returning this set and keeping Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2.

      For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the headphones is up-to-date (via the Sony Sound Connect app). It is also recommended to wear both earbuds properly. Wear the headset so that the earbud tip is comfortably situated as deep in the ear canal as possible. If the size of the earbud tips does not match the size of your ear canals or the headset is not worn properly in your ears, tap operations or Speak-to-Chat speech detection may not work correctly, or you may not obtain the correct sound qualities, noise canceling effects, or call performance. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The most suitable size of the earbud tips for left and right ears may be different.     Disappointed and returned them

    Ended up returning them. Person on the other end of the call said my voice was a whisper and kept going out. I bought my daughter the Bose earbuds the same day and tried them with the same person. He said my voice was normal and no drop in my speaking. Very disappointed because I was told they were great earbuds.

    Non Existent ANC

    I bought these on friday from Best Buy brand new at full price. Was very dissapointed by the noise cancelling aspect of these ear buds. On the app, when you toggle the noise canceling mode on or off, it hardly makes a difference. I then played a you tube video of airplane noise and tried the ear buds, I could still hear the noise come through. I then switched to my samsung buds pro 2 and was shocked at the difference. Almost night and day. This is even after I updated to the latest firmware on the Sony buds. Very dissapointed. And I saw several youtube reviews saying this is the best in class. Will be returning mine back to best buy

    The buds are simply too big for most people's ears. Besides the bulky size, the noise cancelling did not meet the hype. Bose QC 2 is much better and, to a lesser degree the newly released Jabra Elite 8. If you simply want Sony buds, just get the Linkbuds S - they fit better, have comparable noise cancelling and are cheaper.

    I received these in Jan 21st and it is now Mar 8th. So not even 2 months and the right earbud is going out. It cuts out constantly and when it IS actually working there is a bad crackling noise. I can’t even use the right earbud anymore as it’s gotten so bad. The left one still works fine. I had the previous model and had the battery issue but I thought I’d give Sony another shot and GREATLY regret it. Now I’m stuck with nonfunctioning earbuds and out the money I spent. Do yourselves all a favor and stay far away from Sony EarPods.

    Compared to my link buds S, these were much bigger (almost twice as big). Not very comfortable to wear for long.

    Got new eartips because the foam ones are hot garbage and after that they work fine but the fit isnt amazing

    I wanted to love these earbuds. For music, listening, they're great. For calls, they're absolutely awful - to the point that if there is even a small amount of background noise, folks on the other end can't hear you. Something is fundamentally broken in how the mics try to mute background noise. Mine are getting returned. If you need to do calls, look elsewhere.

    Subpar Earbuds, Sony can do better for this price

    Earbuds sound quality was beaten by many others for example jbl live pros beat them, had gotten the samsung buds 3 pro and will never look back what a shame, sonys earbuds used to be good.

    The sound for music was not good. They feel and look really cheaply made. There’s a background noise when theres not supposed to be any. Plus they try to get you to purchase some extra software for them. I ended returning them for iPods pro 2 which are much better
