The Sony XM5 are really good in sound quality and with the EQ you can make the your own. Great bass, good mid-range and great highs. All I'm missing is volume, I use them for work in a really noise environment and they couldn't keep up. Noise cancelling is good but I still prefer my Airpods Pro 2nd gen. Were the Sony XM5 disappointed me was on the transparency mode, I was expecting the same clarity and openness of the Airpods Pro but that never happened. Sony XM5 earbuds are great in sound, comfort, Noise cancelling and lots of features on the app.

Perfect earbuds!

What a huge difference! Sound quality is way better. They fit my ears better and are more comfortable. Great battery life. They also have a lot more sound customization than are offered on the Airpods. Highly recommend.

These earphones have amazing battery noise canceling is good. And i like how when you start talking it pauses the video your watching. plus ambient mode can be set to when you are running or sitting or walking. That way you can set how much ambient sound comes in when you run or sit or walk. Also it can be set to a location. So when you go to the gym is sets how much noise comes in. You can also have it where it connects to two different devices from different brands. Its a must if you have different ecosystems.

They also dont slip out of my ears and they have a really good battery life!

Great sound but with faults

Thankfully it seems a software update has fixed it. The app is awful and the tips get so dirty easily even with clean ears. I think for the price, I’d buy something else. I’ve had better overall experience with AirPods Pro than these ones.

Long battery life great design (doesn’t hurt my ears after wearing all day) and case is nice and small. Sound Connect app does take a while too setup and navigate for new users but does have nice features and settings. Noise cancellation is also really good but nothing beats the AirPods Pro’s unfortunately. Overall great headphones would definitely recommend to all who are interested in wireless headphones

Sound, connection reliability, fit and style all excellent. Ear buds hold tight on her frequent walks. Ease of use comes with slight learning curve. Advanced features may suit more tech savy users. I use the Samsung Buds pro 2 and the Sonys are a little bit better with the noise canceling. These are paired with a Motorola phone and perform appropriately. Consumer reports was a reliable reference for this model.

However, the noise cancelling just doesn’t compare to my Bose QC Earbuds, which are cheaper at $199.99 versus these at $329.99. For the price, I expected better ANC performance, but overall they’re still comfortable and sound great.

I travel a lot. They're small so they don't take up any space in the backpack. I do recommend getting aftermarket rubber pieces. I found some nice soft ones on Amazon. These buds have really good nose canceling. They're not over-the-ear good, but close. The sound is clean and crisp. Music sounds great. I use these for phone calls all the time and have had zero issues. Battery lasts a decent while, and the case recharges quickly. If you like earbuds, you will not be disappointed with these.

It should be noted that the smaller size of the buds makes them more comfortable and reduces fatigue over a long period of time. The noise cancellation is very good since you cannot hear anything from the outside and one point to emphasize is that they can be modified. in the sony app is very good as one can modify the equalizer of the headphones if they want more bass or more treble The Sony, the WF1000XM5, are the latest version of Sony's high-end wireless headphone offerings and claim to offer a Great sound, a long-lasting battery, and a sophisticated noise cancellation system that other brands can't touch.

As a person who has owned many high-end brands concerning noise-canceling headsets, this one exceeds my expectations. As you receive the earbuds, the packaging is actually very simple with it being light beige and made of cardstock. Inside, there is the case which has a matte finish but the earbuds themselves have a glossy touch to it. I love how there is a slight difference in both the case and the product. It also includes the cable, but not the power charging block considering the price, you would expect there to be one at least. Lastly, there are the diverse options in foam sleeves that range from large to extra small, allowing you to find the most fitting to the ear. The sound quality of this product is amazing, smooth,and crisp!! Even at its highest setting of volume, it does not feel uncomfortable whatsoever. The app, Sony Headphone Connect is convenient to users as it allows for you to customize the sound of the earbuds using the equalizer. This helps you find the best sound quality only personal to you. The app also allows you to track down the status of the battery. In addition, there is the option choose between noise cancelling and ambient sound or off. Overall the Sony Earbuds are of great quality and worth that pretty penny. A problem for me is that the foam sleeves are not useful at all as I continue to struggle with adjusting the earbuds every now and then, especially when moving around.
