Expected More for $300

However even though the audio is top notch the biggest issue with the line up remains. Inconsistent battery life where one of the buds has a disproportionately high battery life remaining vs the other. The worst part is its random which one. Honestly sony needs to overhall its software

High hopes, poor experience

They fit good, they look good, case is nice.....but they aren't great for the price. I might return them.

Disappointed in Performance

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TL;DR for the price, the Bose QC II was a better sound profile and noise cancellation. Even though I got these on-sale, I would’ve rated these lower had I paid full price. Overall I would give these 2.5 stars, so I rounded up to 3. Why? Sony needs to ditch the foam ear tips or figure out how to engineer those better because they don’t seal all that great and there’s a significant amount of ear fatigue after maybe an hour of wear. ANC technology might be good, and it might not because I can’t get a solid seal, so lots of ambient sound makes its way in. I thought my AirPods Pro 2 were bad, these are worse, by a significant margin. If I could go back and do it, I would have bought a new pair of Bose. But I didn’t because after 1.5 years with the Bose QC2 it started getting super finicky with connection issues. I guess I’ll just continue to hunt for the “perfect pair”

We regret to know that you're not having the best experience with your WF-1000XM5 and you are having issues, particularly with the fit of the unit. Your feedback is extremely important to us and is very much appreciated. If the size of the earbud tips does not match the size of your ear canals or the headset is not properly worn on your ears, tap operations or the speech detection of Speak-to-Chat may not be successful, or you may not obtain proper sound qualities, noise canceling effects, or call performances. If any of this is the case, we recommend to try the following.
To ensure optimal performance, as well as to obtain the best fit and prevent the headset from falling out, change the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. If you feel earbud tips are difficult to put into your ears, change the size of earbud tips or squeeze earbud tips lightly before wearing the headset. When wearing them, gently pull up on the top of your ears, put the earbud tips in your ear canal, and then twist the earbuds into place. This makes sure the earbuds are firmly in the ear canal.
