    Love the sound but whats the point of the sound wuality if the earbuds fall every 5 minutes, even during inactivity. Smile and it falls right off.

    Easy to lose, costly to replace

    I regret buying the WF-1000XM5 earbuds. For such a steep price tag, I had the worst experience. The earbuds kept falling out of my ears, even after trying different sizes. The smallest size fit me best, but even then I had to readjust it every couple minutes. You definitely can't wear these while working out. I unfortunately lost one earbud. Firstly, I'm disappointed such expensive earbuds don't have a tracking feature. Secondly, the replacement process is awful. It costs around $210 total (labor + cost of new earbud + shipping) to replace a missing bud. That's outrageous for a product that costs $300. TLDR: These earbuds are not a great fit, easy to lose and costly to replace. Go with something cheaper.

    They offered me 20$ for basically new WFXM4 lol no thank you and just because of this il get XM5 elsewhere

    Bad Sony Product

    Constant connectivity drops, one ear bud fails to connect for some reason and requires a restart of the tablet or phone to fix get the ear bud to connect. The battery in the right ear now runs out of power in less than an hour. The last Sony product I will be buying.

      We regret to hear that you are not satisfied with the headphones. For optimum performance, make sure to install the latest software version of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app).

      If the size of the earbud tips does not match the size of your ear canals or the headset is not worn properly in your ears, tap operations or Speak-to-Chat speech detection may not work correctly, or you may not obtain the correct sound qualities, noise canceling effects, or call performance. If any of this is the case, try the following.

      -Change the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The most suitable size of the earbud tips for left and right ears may be different.
      -The “Sony | Headphones Connect” app will help you to determine which earbud tips suit you best to achieve the optimal noise canceling effect, sound quality, etc.
      -Check that you are wearing the headset properly in your ears. Wear the headset so that the earbud tip is comfortably situated as deep in the ear canal as possible. You may also find this link helpful:

    DO NOT BUY Product has stopped working after 3 months of Use. Have to contact sony. Sony will send a new pair after you send back yours. it takes 7 to 10 business days to receive. So, i have to drive to mail the headphones, wait for them to confirm and have them shipped back. 2 weeks to month depending on how fast they do it. DO NOT BUY, DONT BUY ANY SONY PRODUCT ITS NEVER WORKS AFTER A SMALL AMOUNT OF TIME

    Awful battery life

    Sony is known for quality, well I'd avoid these earbuds at all costs. The previous models battery life was awful within a year, and sony customer service referred me to a third party vendor which i would still need to pay for. They used to be known for quality, and at that price point i expected such, but it was not the case.

    Non Existent ANC

    I bought these on friday from Best Buy brand new at full price. Was very dissapointed by the noise cancelling aspect of these ear buds. On the app, when you toggle the noise canceling mode on or off, it hardly makes a difference. I then played a you tube video of airplane noise and tried the ear buds, I could still hear the noise come through. I then switched to my samsung buds pro 2 and was shocked at the difference. Almost night and day. This is even after I updated to the latest firmware on the Sony buds. Very dissapointed. And I saw several youtube reviews saying this is the best in class. Will be returning mine back to best buy

    They die after a year.

    If these are anything remotely close to their predecessor, I would stay away, unless you have 300 bucks a year to waste. Theyll die after about a year and customer service will tell you to factory rest them and it does nothing. Right inntime for the warranty to expire. Will go from 8 hours of musoc to 1.5 or less on a full charge. One ear bud will get super hot when charging. Great product for a year and then a wastw of money.

    Always dead.

    I'm on my second pair of these because I though there was something wrong with my original pair. The earbuds are always dead after being taken out of the case and the case will be fully charged, looked online and it seems like it's a common issue with these. I'll be returning then for a different brand.
