    You need both headphones in to control music properly so hopefully you don’t need to hear anyone well using them.

    Great sounds, but very hard to operate when riding a mountain bike so I returned them and bought Bose instead.

    Probably the best in ear earbuds ive ever bought

    I love the foam earcups they come with, ive alwasy struggled to keep ear buds in my ears because they alwasy fell out but these are absolutely perfect.

    Use them mostly for the steam deck but also my phone. It does have an app to use which was nice to customize it specifically for what you want.

    Owned the XM4 before this, and there was a issue with it not charging anymore, and Sony's warranty covered it, and i decided to get this set

    Bad ear fit with Sony WF1000XM5's

    Probably pretty nice earbuds but neither myself nor my wife could make them fit and seal properly in either L or R ears. We tried all the ear tip sizes included with the buds, but none would achieve a proper seal according to the included test. Fit is of primary importance to us and includes their stability in the ear, wear comfort, and seal (for correct sound isolation/cancelation). If earbuds don't fit, then all their positive attributes fade into the background. Thankfully Best Buy allowed us to return them for full credit. So 5 Stars to them. We have moved on to evaluation of Bose Quite Comfort Ultra Earbuds, also from Best Buy. Evaluation is ongoing.

We're sorry if its call quality didn't live up to your expectations. Please ensure that the earbuds fit snugly in your ears. If the earbuds do not fit your ears, the phone call quality may decrease. Here are some important factors to consider:
      • Make sure that headphones are worn properly.
      • Make sure that the earbuds are firmly and completely attached. If you are using the supplied earbuds (EP-NI1010), lightly turn over the earbud tips to make sure that the sound output hole is completely covered by the earbud tip.
      • Use the earbud tips that best fit with your ears. Measure the air-tightness of the earbud tips and find the optimal size of earbud tips using the Sony | Headphones Connect app.

    Used the XM4 for over 1,700 hours till the batteries didn't even last an hour on a "full charge". We'll see how these hold up!

    Not Very Comfortable and Some Issues

    At first they seemed okay, but they don’t fit well in my ears and fall out easily. After some use, one side stopped working, so the experience was not great overall.

    Cheap plastic feel and awful transparency mode

    Very cheap feeling plastic and build. Did not fit my ears at all and sound quality was mid. Main reason I returned was because of the awful transparency mode compared to AirPods transparency is like a night and day difference

    Sound is ok, the tips are trash

    The audio quality is fine, though I have to say the low end is nearly non-existent, truly disappointing. The worst featrue however, the foam tips. I realize they’re required for a proper seal within the ear canal, but they’re near impossible to get in. I’ve tried all sizes, and I cannot get a single one to seal correctly, thereby rendering the noise cancellation practically usesless. Basically wasted just shy of $300 on these, I’m DEFINITELY exchanging them. Bottom line, I personally do not recommend these at all.

      For optimum performance, it is recommended to wear both earbuds properly. Wear the headset so that the earbud tip is comfortably situated as deep in the ear canal as possible. If the size of the earbud tips does not match the size of your ear canals or the headset is not worn properly in your ears, tap operations or Speak-to-Chat speech detection may not work correctly, or you may not obtain the correct sound qualities, noise canceling effects, or call performance. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The most suitable size of the earbud tips for left and right ears may be different. The “Sony Sound Connect” app will help you to determine which earbud tips suit you best to achieve the optimal noise canceling effect, sound quality, etc.

      Additionally, you can use the Equalizer/CLEAR BASS setting of the Sony app to fine-tune the sound quality to your needs.
