Also I don't like that I cannot skip to the next song without having to get my phone out. I listen to music when I'm working out and I prefer to keep my phone my bag and not have to get it out if I want to skip a song

Poor sound qualtity, especially bad microphone

I bought these thinking that they might work well at the gym being water resistant. Unfortunately the sound quality wasn't very good even adjusting it using the app. Moreover, the amount of noise cancellation was marginal though for this type of headphone there isn't a lot that can be done. What got me to return them was the microphone was extremely poor. How poor you ask? To be understood I had to disconnect the earbuds and used the phone microphone so that I wouldn't sound "muddled".
