Sound good and good Base
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound and bass is great and with the app you can change sound settings, The battery won’t last long, but if you cary charge box you can recharge them at lest two times. The bad is that my right side stays charging but will not turn on and I only had them since October 2018, 5 Months, I take good care of my Stuff and it just stop working. No information on how to repair them. Anyone knows how to get support, I went to Best Buy 3/31/2019 (yesterday) and they could not even do a new upgrade on the app. How do I contact Sony or where can I take them to be fix. I need My headset to workout.

Best purchase I've ever made!!!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These eaebuds have such a great, crisp sound!! I love it. I love the bass! They have amazing bass without distorting the sound. They connect effortlessly every. Single. Time. I've had them for quite a while and I use them every day at work at least 6 hours a day. My only complaint might be the battery. It last about 2.5 hours which is decent but it'd sure be nice if it lasted longer!! These are totally worth the price!!

Small, lightweight, and good sound
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After trying out these fully wireless earphones for about a week I have found them to be fully functional, high quality, and an excellent option for those that are looking for total freedom from wires when it comes to their audio listening experience. The SP700's not only have high quality audio and extra bass, but they also offer noise cancelling which is rare with wireless earbuds. This feature worked well for me. They were also very comfortable, being lighter than other earbuds I have used. The lighter weight made it less likely for them to fall out unexpectedly. While they are light and comfortable, there is a tradeoff. The smaller size limits the battery life. You are lucky to get a few hours before needing to recharge. If your don't need them for longer than 3 hours at a time then this will not be a problem for you. The included case allows you to charge them on the go if you need longer play time. I liked the design of the case. It's small and will do a sufficient job of protecting your earbuds in your gym bag. I did have audio drop a couple of times throughout the week, but it was brief and that is not uncommon for small bluetooth devices such as this. Overall I was pleased the connectivity performance. If you are looking to go fully wireless with your audio needs, these are worth a look. And the price point is reasonable for what Sony delivers.

Gym/Runner Buy... Other Think About It
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.-=First Impressions=- First, I must say I am pleasantly surprised by these ear buds. I was shocked by the sound quality from the moment I turned them on. However, I don't see much difference in the other modes aside from the noise cancellation mode which is just okay at best. Sony has managed to create a comfortable and secure fit without irritation or wear fatigue. I often forgot I had them in. The buds are light weight and offer great sound isolation because of the in-ear design. They mount your ear much like JayBirds do using ear wings that are customizable like the ear gels are. The design choice is different and reminds me of lima beans or jelly beans. This ok though because they don't look weird or stick out too much from your ear like some other brands. There are a limited number of buttons, which I do not like, and they are very hard to press/find. IPX4 provides peace of mind when I am out running and it decides to rain or I start sweating. Overall, very good and worth a look. I will dive deeper in the next few paragraphs. +Pros+ +aptX - Hard to find in wireless headphones these days, but these have it. +IPX4 - Splash proof is not waterproof but it is peace of mind while out in the weather. +Fit - I love the fit and customizability of these ear buds. +Sound Quality - Sound is full and bass is powerful, this is also a negative for some listeners. This can be addressed using the EQ. +EQ - App offers EQ to turn down the "EXTRA BASS" if you are not a fan of it. +NFC Pairing - Too bad Apple users, you will never know what this feels like just tapping the headphones and clicking ok to pair. +Audio Synced - These do not have a lag when listening to video. Many others out there have around a 1-3 second delay when watching videos. -Cons- -Battery Life - Offers up to 3 hours of use and the case offers like 2 charges for a total of 9 hours. -Bluetooth 4.1 - we are in 2018, we should all be getting Bluetooth 5.0 now. Disappointing but range is still solid. -No USB-C - I would expect to see USB type C in 2018. For some reason these, like many still use Micro USB. -Cradle Design - I am not fond of the charger implementation. It is a cheap plastic case with a hinge that I worry will break. I don't like the swivel door. -Charging - This takes getting used to. Since the buds are a tight fit, you need to wiggle them and press hard to get them to charge. I also do not like the fact, like many wireless options today, you can only charge in the case. If you lose the case or it is damaged, you will need to shell out more cash or buy new ear buds because they charge through pins. -Not Waterproof - This only offers "splash" protection which is disappointing. -LED Placement - Terrible placement of the LED. It should be on the front if you are putting the charger in the back. You have to look at the back to see if it is charged. Disappointing for sure. -Buttons - There is a lack of buttons for simple functions like volume. There are 2 buttons and they are VERY poorly designed. They are stiff and hard to find sometimes. I wish this would be done better. -No Stereo Calls - Only the left ear bud is utilized instead of both which is also disappointing. -Sound Modes - I can hardly tell the difference when activating the other modes besides "Noise Cancelling". Ambient Sounds does not effectively amplify the sounds around me. -Too Bassy - Low end is HIGHLY favored with these. This will be a turn off for some, but again this is correctable in app using the EQ. -Call Audio - Call audio often sounded crackly when talking with men who speak loudly. I tried lowering the volume but it still didn't help. Bassy and powerful voices will sound terrible in the ear bud. For music during workout these are a winner! -=THE VERDICT=- WORTH A LOOK! With all the "negatives" I posted, they were really personal preference. Many of these things people can look past, but as a reviewer I must share everything I find fairly. The one true negative for me is battery life. 3 hours is not that great and I think it is downright pathetic. You do have a charging case to use but it too is a pain trying to open and put the buds to charge. I didn't time how long it takes to get a usable charge but I would guess about an hour. Looks are relative to each buyer so not a big deal. I love the fit and splash proofing is welcomed. If you are a gym rat or a runner, these are a buy but only if you always leave them in the charger.

ONE OF THE BETTER WIRELESS EARBUDS
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The most important feature of wireless earbuds is that the earbuds fit into the ear and are comfortable, with little to no pressure on the ear which causes discomfort. These Sony earbuds do stay in the ear fairly well and are comfortable. In my opinion, the second most important feature of wireless earbuds, is sound quality, this is because if earbuds are not comfortable, then the whole time they are worn, the discomfort is constantly being noticed. Luckily these Sony earbuds are both comfortable and sound pretty good. This Sony WF-SP700N model of wireless earbuds has water resistance, which the previous model of wireless earbuds does not. The previous Sony wireless earbuds which has a model number of WF1000X are a bit easier to place in the ear and are also slightly more comfortable than the Sport version. Since I do not exercise when wearing my earbuds, I prefer the previous version of wireless earbuds, but if I was physically active I would prefer these Sony Sport wireless earbuds. The case for these Sony sport wireless earbuds is quite nice and the earbuds fit into the charging position easily. The charge time is fairly quick, and what is best about charging these earbuds, is that the cover does not need to be closed when charging, this allows viewing the red light on each earbud, which lights up when charging, and the red lights turn off when the charging is complete. When I use all my various brands of earbuds, I always remove them from my ear and place them down on the countertop, I place them so that the earbuds are facing up to prevent the ear oils from wiping onto the counter, and then before I place them into the charging case, I wipe the oil off of each earbud with a square section of toilet paper, to prevent bacteria that does build up on the earbuds. This bacteria will cause frequent ear infections if the earbuds are worn several hours a day, this bacteria mainly grows when the earbuds are in the ear and the moisture on the earbuds is increased. Once I started to wipe the earbuds after each use, the ear infections completely stopped. I prefer the black color of earbuds, because the oils that build up on the earbuds can be easier seen, this is because the ear oils glisten on the black color silicone tips, and it can be easier seen when the earbuds are wiped clean. The white color silicone tips on earbuds does not show the oil buildup as easy, and this makes wiping them clean not quite as easy. My least favorite thing about these Sony earbuds, is the placement of the buttons, it is kind of awkward to press the buttons, but that is not much to complain about, it just takes awhile to learn how to grab each earbud specifically so that the buttons can be pressed. I am rating these Sony Sport wireless earbuds at 4 out of 5 stars, this rating would be higher if the buttons were improved and the battery life was a bit better, with that being said, the battery life on all of the wireless earbuds that I own is around 2 to 3 hours.

Q: QuestionCan these be used to just cancel ambient noise without having to listen to music? If so, how do you make that happen?
Asked by antinoise.
- A:Answer The SP700N have a free app called Headphones. When the charged units are placed in your ears, activate Headphones and choose the desired ambient sound control you want. you can also select your mode using the buttons on the devices themselves. If you don't want music or other audio, then just don't hit the play button on your phone. Be aware, these units work well but have a short battery life until needing to be recharged, about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

Q: QuestionIs there a way to hear phone calls with both earpieces? Why did they decide to make it only work on one side?
Asked by Dudeguy.
This question was asked about the related product: Sony - WF-SP700N Sport True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbud Headphones
- A:Answer There is not. One of the units is the “master” and since phone calls aren’t in stereo they only come through the master channel instead of both sides. Most truly wireless earbuds are this way.

Q: QuestionIf i pre order right now, when can I get it?
Asked by jack.
- A:Answer B&H Photo lists it with an expected release date of June 6 and Amazon has a release date of May 14, so I'm assuming around those dates.
