For my work van I needed a dashcam and a carplay to make life easier. I’ve been using Rexing products for the past 5 years with no issues so as soon as I see they have a carplay screen with a built in dash cam and rear camera I had to give it a try. My van has a rear camera but I needed a camera to be able to check the cargo on long trips. The quality of both cameras are great. Accessing and playing back cameras are a breeze just like doing it on a phone. Being able to check my rear camera with a tap makes my life so much easier. Touchpad is very responsive and accurate. I’ve encountered touchpad issues on big screens like this before and was worried might not be very responsive. It works great with no issues. Carplay works wirelessly with bo delay or connection issues. Don’t have an android so can speak to their performance. Screen mirroring works great if you want to watch videos or youtube. Can get very distracting and also illegal so make sure you yuse it while parked only. The kit comes with everything you might need like power cables, aux cable, sticky tapes for mounting, fuse box cable attachement to go directly into panel for ignition power on. I don’t mind the cables so mine is straight to cigarette lighter port. Brightness settings can get too bright which is a big plus for those sunny days. It seems to have some kind of non reflective coating so I don’t see any sun glares. Mount the unit goes on has an height adjustment. I highly recommend lowering it so the screen itself is resting on the dash makes it so much more stable. Otherwise you might get shakes and vibrations. It is a great all in one unit that has everything you might need if you are looking for a carplay dashcam combo. If you are just looking for a carplay/android auto screen, you are pretty much getting a free front and rear dashcam for free for the same price of a regular carplay screen. Highly recommended!

I’ve been using the Rexing CODUO-9 for a few weeks now, and it has made driving much more convenient. Wireless CarPlay connects automatically almost every time I start the car, so I don’t have to plug in my phone anymore. The touchscreen is responsive, and the display is clear enough to read maps and notifications even in bright daylight. My older RAV4 has upgraded so much with this CarPlay-dashcam. The dashcam footage is surprisingly sharp for an all-in-one unit. The rear camera is a nice bonus when parking. I also like that everything is built into a single device rather than separate screens and cameras cluttering the dashboard. I have been using another Rexing dashcam for almost 5 years now and hope this one lasts just as long. My only small complaints are that the startup takes a few extra seconds before CarPlay is ready, and the included mount doesn’t offer as much flexibility as I’d like. I ended up adjusting the placement a few times before finding the ideal position. Overall, it’s a great value if you want to add modern features to a car without replacing the factory stereo. The combination of wireless CarPlay, a large display, and built-in dashcams makes it a worthwhile purchase.

Overall, the dashcam works great with clear picture quality. Pros: The screen is massive, which is great for reading information. The integration with CarPlay is seamless. My apple phone instantly connects without any issues. The camera quality is pretty good. I can read license plates from cars in front w/o any issue. Cons: The screen is massive, which can block the view of the driver. The CarPlay connectivity gets a bit complicated when multiple phones are set up to connect. The mount provided limits where the dashcam can get placed in the vehicle. Overall, the dashcam has been a great addition to my vehicle. I purchased a separate Goose Neck mount allowing me to place the dashcam within arms reach, but without obstructing my view of the road. . The mount itself limits how the dashcam can be

This dashcam has been a fantastic upgrade for my new car. I had an older front-only dashcam before, but this one takes things to the next level. The large screen makes it easy to use CarPlay for navigation, music, and other apps. Mounting it on the dashboard was simple thanks to the flexible, sticky mounting pad. The touchscreen is quite responsive—maybe not iPhone-level smooth, but still works great. Both the front and rear cameras deliver high-quality video. I tested all the resolution settings and found that the 4K option is definitely best for night or low-light conditions. The included 64GB SD card provides plenty of space for recordings. The included hardwire kit is a great bonus since my previous dashcam didn’t include one. I’m not sure how much power the always-on mode draws, but it’s probably minimal, especially with the screen saver feature that turns the display off after a set time. My only issue was with the installation instructions—they were vague. The video guide missed an important step about moving the fuses into the secondary slots on the hardwire kit connectors. Once I figured that out, everything worked perfectly. Overall, I’m very happy with this dashcam. It’s reliable, packed with features, and ideal for older cars without built-in navigation or smartphone connectivity. Definitely recommended!
