I’ve been running the R4-RD for over a week and I’m happy with it. The four-channel setup is the main selling point — front, rear, and both sides covered simultaneously. For rideshare or just wanting full situational awareness around your car, that alone makes it worth a look. Install was straightforward. Cables are long enough for even a larger SUV, and everything you need for a clean wire run is included. The windshield mount is solid and it ships with a 64GB card, so you’re not sourcing anything extra out of the box. The OBD-II power cord keeps the camera running while parked without draining your battery, and the GPS logs location and speed alongside footage. Wi-Fi connectivity works well — connect via the app and browse clips from your phone without pulling the card. A couple things to know going in: it records at 1080p, so manage expectations if you’re hoping for 4K. Menu customization options are a bit limited, though that could change with a firmware update. The GPS module is also a separate unit from the camera body, so you’ll need a little extra dash space for it. Minor things aside — highly recommend for anyone wanting complete vehicle coverage, especially rideshare drivers.

Been running this dashcam for a bit now, and I’ll tell ya what, this thing just works the way you want it to. Setup was straightforward, video quality is clean all around, and having that full coverage gives some real peace of mind when you’re out on the road. What I especially like is that the motion sensor is built in this time. With my previous model, I had to go out of my way and buy that separately, which was a hassle. Here, it’s already taken care of, no extra steps, no extra cost. Also a big fan of the OBDII power connection. It’s a much cleaner setup, no messing with fuse boxes or running wires all over the place. Plug it in and you’re good to go. Nice bonus that the kit comes with a rear camera and GPS. I’ll definitely be using the GPS, but as for the rear camera even though the quality looks solid, I’m probably not going to bother installing it. Overall, solid piece of gear. Reliable, simple, and does exactly what it’s supposed to without any fuss. At this point, every car in my family is running a Rexing dash cam, can’t complain, just not sure what I’m supposed to do with the older ones now.

I've been a loyal Rexing customer for several years and recently upgraded to this model for my Lexus 2021 RX 350. I'm very impressed with its ease of use, the clear and spacious screen, and the range of built-in features. It's excellent value dashcam—especially with the included microSD card—and the collision sensing and parking monitor functions have been incredibly useful. I highly recommend this Rexing to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality, and affordable option for personal or company use. It was setup typically takes under an hour. It provided crystal clear video. It captures sharp footage in various lighting conditions. Records in 1080p with sharp footage. Image quality is clear in various lighting conditions. The Rexing was provided competitive price, a great value at this cost.

I recently bought this Rexing R4-RD Dash Cam and I’m very impressed. The 360° coverage is excellent, video quality is clear, and the parking monitor feature makes me feel more secure when my car is parked. GPS and app connection are easy to use. Great product for the price and highly recommended!

I decided to invest in the Rexing R4-RD Dash Cam after a really frustrating experience. A few months ago, I parked my car at a shopping center, and when I came back, there were scratches and a small dent on the side. No note. No witnesses. Nothing I could take to the police or my insurance company. It was basically my word against no one — and that’s the worst feeling. That’s exactly why I chose this model. The built-in 360° motion parking monitor was the biggest selling point for me. Now when I park, I actually feel at ease. The camera automatically records if there’s motion or impact while the car is off. I don’t need extra add-ons or complicated wiring — it’s already built in. Knowing that it’s watching all sides of my vehicle 24/7 gives me real peace of mind. The 4-channel setup is another reason I’m happy with this purchase. It records front, rear, and both sides — not just the usual two angles. Most accidents and parking lot damage happen on the sides, so having that coverage makes a huge difference. I also like that the side cameras can rotate inward if I ever want cabin monitoring. The infrared lights work surprisingly well at night, keeping the footage clear even in low-light conditions. Video quality is solid across the board with 1080p HD recording on every camera. The Wi-Fi and app support make it really convenient. I can connect through the app on my iPhone and review footage without removing the SD card. The built-in GPS is another feature I appreciate — it tracks speed, route, and location, which could be very helpful if there’s ever a dispute. Overall, this dash cam changed how I feel about leaving my car parked anywhere. Before, I would worry and constantly check for damage when I came back. Now I know if something happens, I’ll have proof. For me, that alone makes the R4-RD completely worth it.

I've been using the Rexing R4-RD for a month now, and honestly, the peace of mind is worth it. Having 4 channel 1080p recording is a game changer for me because it literally covers every side of the car. The best part is that the cameras are easily adjustable, so you can actually pivot them to get the exact angle you want, whether you're to catch side door dings or just want a better view of the cabin. The installation was easier than expected because of the OBD hardwire kit. You just plug it right into the OBD port and you're good to go. It's a smart move because it has built in protection to make sure it doesn't drain your car battery, so you don't have to worry about coming back to a dead car in the morning. For the parking monitor, it's super responsive. Once it gets triggered by motion or an impact, it captures about 5 minutes of footage, which is plenty of time to see exactly what went down while you were away. As far as the actual video goes, it's solid. Whether it's bright daylight or late at night, the quality is clear and consistent. It's definitely enough to see exactly what is happening all around the vehicle at all times. if you want full coverage without a massive headache, this is a great pick.

The Rexing R4-RD is filled with new features and options to make it a great Dashcam. It starts with a 4 camera system and radar activated parking lot monitoring that attaches with an easily movable suction cup system that holds the device in place in any weather and road conditions. It also incorporates a separate plug in GPS unit. The GPS unit allows you to play videos with their downloadable software and see where the vehicle was on Google maps in addition to the vehicle speed and camera video. I also liked the simpler ODB port power cable that you can plug in and allows you to set the voltage that it will cut off so you don’t drain your battery too low. With a cable that is easy to disconnect at the camera and the main unit end it simplifies installation of the rear camera. A quick note, unlike most Rexing Dashcams this one did not include an SD card which must be installed to record your files. While the main unit looks big it tucked nicely behind my rear view mirror without blocking any of my view. This is my new recommended GPS system.

The Rexing R4-RD Dash Cam leaves a person hard-pressed to find missing features. Not only is it feature rich, but its flexible design makes it a multi-purpose unit which can adapt instantly to various situations. It has 4 cameras total, 3 on the main unit, and one rear camera you can attach to your back window. The main front camera faces straight ahead, while the left and right cameras manually swivel. The adjustable front cameras allow you to get an extremely wide view of the road, even off to the sides. If you prefer, you can use either the left, right, or both side cameras as cabin cameras. Whether it's for a "for hire" driver's safety, law enforcement interaction, keeping your eye on your baby in the back seat, or to capture good times and memories, it's fast and simple to aim. The screen can change camera views to display all cameras at once, or just the one you prefer on full screen. The included OBD2 hardwire kit makes it super easy to just plug in and no messing with the fuses. To hide the wires for a clean looking installation, I installed the suction cup mount directly under the molding that surrounds the rearview mirror, popped the panel off, and was able to then go through and up into the headliner to hide the wires. No need for wire clips or ugly wires traveling around your windshield. It records crystal clear video, whether you are driving or utilizing the parking monitor option, to clearly identify even small details such as license plates. As an added value and convivence, Rexing also includes a pre-installed 64GB memory card. Another valuable addition is the GPS module that's included. This can be used to record your speed and location data as the videos are being recorded. You also have the option to use the dash cam screen to display your speed in real time if you'd like. By far, this has been my favorite Rexing Dash Cam model and easiest to install!

Upgrading from a Rexing V1PGW-4K for increased angle coverage. The Rexing R4-RD is an all-inclusive kit which includes the OBD hardwire and a 64 gb memory card. Given the 360 degree coverage I would have preferred that it included a 256 gb card, but I understand this would have added to the overall price and some users may already have a larger capacity memory card from another dashcam they can use. Installation was easy with the OBD hardwire kit, as these connections are universal, not like the fuse connectors between various car brands. The suction cup mount was a welcomed change from my previous camera’s double-sided tape mount, allowing for easier relocation and the ability to adjust the angle of the display screen. After using the camera for a week, my first impressions are as follow: 1. On-screen image display (both visually, and from various angles) is much easier to view compared to my previous Rexing camera. 2. Ability to see that the camera is recording (blinking red dot) is easier, as it’s no longer embedded in the display screen. 3. User interface seems easier to navigate and change options in the settings. 4. Recorded Image quality continues to be great. 5. Motion radar sensor is an added layer of comfort when leaving the car for an extended period of time. My only constructive comment would be an option on the OBD plug to turn off the unit after the car engine is turned off. Overall, I really enjoy the upgrade and would recommend this camera to anyone looking for 360 dashcam coverage.

Honestly, I’ve been really happy with this dashcam. The video quality is clear enough to actually make out details, which is all you really want from a dash cam. What I like most is the 360° parking monitor. it’s nice knowing the car is being watched even when I’m not around. The GPS feature is a solid bonus, and the app was easier to use than I expected. Setup didn’t take long either. Overall, it just works the way you’d hope, no hassle. Definitely worth it.

I already have Rexing dash cams on both vehicles here, and as I was starting to look for a new one for a new lease this one came handy. I'm using it for a month now, and comparing its images with the old ones it's clear there was a good improvement, especially considering this camera records 4 videos at same time (my current ones only record 2 videos). The performance at night has the most noticeable improvement, making easy to identify signals and license plates in the videos. The GPS unit that comes with it is the cherry on top as it provides location and speed in all videos, making it smooth the video synchronization. Another feature that I really liked is the OBD connector for power the unit. The old way to permanent connect the camera (using the fuse box connector wiring) was easy but a bit laborious depending on the car. This one is plug-and-play, and it can be easily disconnected when needed. Worth the purchase as it will provide greater peace of mind knowing everything is being properly (and better) recorded when driving around.

This dashcam is another great product from Rexing. I installed it in my 2018 Mercedes and installation was a breeze. It is working great and the images are very clear. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this dashcam to family and friends.

I'm replacing an older dash cam and so far, the product is working great. My old dash cam was wired directly to the fuse box using both mini-USB connectors to the front and rear cameras. So, it was a little challenge to remove all the old cables that was nicely tucked inside the front driver pillar and roof panel. I ran the new smart hardwire kit and the rear camera cables in place of the old cables. WOW, I couldn't be happier with everything hidden and out of sight. Finally, I was able to mount the suction cup and started to connect everything into the dash cam including the GPS module. I've been using it for a week now and I have to hand it to Rexing for a quality-built dash cam. My biggest thing with this unit is that now I actually have a security camera for my car when I'm away from it. That feature alone is worth my upgrading to this unit. The overall of the video quality was good and was ok when reviewing it on a bigger computer screen.

Rexing dashcams have always held true for my family. Each of our vehicles has a rexing camera. I first began buying these cameras in 2019, and each and every one ive purchased has been reliable, easy to install, and have had great video quality. This camera is no different, and it has a variety of cameras to get the best all round view!

Great quality, easy to install and use. Four cameras allow video to be captured on four sides of car or the interior. The two side cameras are adjustable to accommodate virtually any vehicle. The power cable that plugs into the OBD-II port makes installation a breeze. Video quality is good and app is easy to use.

Another great product from Rexing! Easy to install with valuable features like being able to connect power thru the OBD port for extended functions, GPS module included, and 360 coverage. Because it's continually monitoring the battery and will shutdown if voltage goes too low, it is able to record while parked without fear of not being able to start the car. This my 5th Rexing Dashcam because they keep getting better!!!

We installed the Rexing R4-RD All-Around Dash Cam on our Cadillac Escalade and it looks incredible. The sleek black design blends right in with the vehicle’s premium interior and doesn’t look bulky or out of place at all. It actually adds to the high-tech feel of the Escalade instead of detracting from it. Installation was surprisingly easy and straightforward. Clear instructions, solid mounting options, and we had the whole system up and running in under an hour with no drilling or complicated wiring. Even the hardwire kit for the parking monitor went in cleanly. Video quality is outstanding — sharp 1080p across all four channels with excellent detail and great night vision. The built-in 360° motion parking monitor, GPS, and phone app make it feel like a complete security system rather than just a dash cam. We’ve had Rexing dash cams in our other vehicles for years, and they’ve been priceless more times than I can count. Clear footage has helped with insurance claims, proved fault in accidents, and even documented a hit-and-run that would have otherwise been our word against theirs. Dash cams aren’t optional anymore, and the R4-RD is the best one we’ve owned. If you’re looking for something that looks great, installs easily, and actually delivers when it matters, this is the one. Highly recommend!

Dashcam is all updated and fresh! Improved from the last one I owned which was the V2 Pro. Unfortunately with updating, the old hardwire cable does not work, and the rear camera cable does not work with this unit. So yes, I have to rewire EVERYTHING. Works nicely so far. Great addition was the camera pointing straight infront then 2 cameras for seeing the sides! But, Rexing, why not just finally put a 360° camera on the bottom and get a full view?!?!?!? Forgot to mention the best part!! It comes with the hardwire cable finally!!! And it goes straight to the OBD II plug so no guessing what fuse to select and hope its good for parking. Maybe rexing can upgrade the usb c cable tho, why do yall have it on a 90° angle? If it goes on the window and the obd is on the driver side, why does the cable angle to the passenger side? The cable gets ran straight up to the headliner, so cable will kink and could become damaged eventually. Overall, I like this dashcam so far.

I recently installed the Rexing R4-RD Dash Cam in my car and I’m seriously impressed. This thing is a beast for the price — it delivers true all-around protection with excellent 1080p video quality from every angle. What I Love: • 360° Coverage: The multi-camera setup (front, cabin/sides, rear, and the included extra camera) gives me complete peace of mind. No more blind spots. The video is sharp, clear, and the night vision is surprisingly good even in low light. • Built-in 360° Motion Parking Monitor: This feature is a game-changer. When I’m parked, the cam stays alert and starts recording the moment it detects any motion around the vehicle. I’ve already caught a close call with a shopping cart and a suspicious person lingering near my car — the footage was timestamped and crystal clear. • GPS Tracking: Accurate speed and location data built right in. Super useful for insurance claims or just reviewing trips. • App Control: The mobile app is intuitive and connects quickly. I can live view, download footage, adjust settings, and check recordings all from my phone. No more pulling out the SD card every time. Installation was straightforward with the included mounts (the suction cup is rock solid even on bumpy roads). The build quality feels premium and the black finish looks sleek and professional. It’s discreet enough that most people don’t even notice it’s there. In the couple of months I’ve had it, it’s already saved me stress on the road and given me solid evidence for a minor parking lot incident. If you’re looking for a reliable, feature-packed dash cam with full surround coverage, the Rexing R4-RD is absolutely worth every penny. 10/10 — I’d buy it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend for anyone who wants top-tier protection for their vehicle!
